Scrooge
Landmass Titan Cannot be Special Summoned. As long as this card is face-up on the field: face-down Defence Position monsters you control are unaffected by card effects of cards your opponent controls. Once per turn: if a monster you control is Flip Summoned by its own effect; you may change it into face-down Defence Position after its effect has resolved. Sander
The effect doesn't make sense, though. I know what you're trying to do here, but monsters cannot Flip Summon themselves with their own effect. You are the one Flip Summoning them, and thus triggering their effects that activate on Flip Summoning. There is no correct way of wording it, and there is no need for that last effect, anyways, as most cards like Des Lacooda or Guardian of the Sphinx can flip themselves face-down on their own, thus making the last effect useless for the cards that could benefit from this the most. The best idea would be to replace the last effect into something in the lines of either getting Rock-Type monsters back to your hand from the Graveyard, searching for new Rock-Type monsters, or just a plain draw a card effect. The best bet would be to use the first one, as then it will actually classify as support for the Deck Type that you had in mind. OCG Fix This card cannot be Special Summoned. As long as this card is face-up on the field: all face-down monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn: if a monster you control is Flip Summoned by its own effect; you may change it into face-down Defence Position after its effect has resolved. Overall nice card. You didn't even fix the OCG. "This card cannot be Special Summoned" is wrong, OP's version was correct on that part. The only correct OCG fix that I can see from your post is the changing of unaffected by card effects of cards your opponent controls into all face-down monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. Also, you didn't even bother to try to fix the "Flip Summoned by its own effect" part, which is illogical, given that face-down monsters cannot activate effects. Oh yeah, "may" is the wrong word to use in YuGiOh nowadays, has been that for ages. Learn that you use "can" instead of may before posting OCG fixes. Scrooge
@Multiloquent Thanks for helpinh me out with the ocg! I'll keep "your opponent's card effects" in mind! @ZandaPanda Thanks for your insight! However, how about something like the following? Cannot be Special Summoned. As long as this card is face-up on the field: face-down Defence Position monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. During your End Phase: you can target 1 face-up monster you control; change it into face-down Defence Position.

Better I guess, but it's still bad, as you cannot Special Summon it, thus you're forced to Tribute Summon it, and that's probably the one thing that you do not want to do in decks that utilize monsters like Des Lacooda / Swarm of Locusts / Swarm of Scarabs etc. etc. The best idea here is to remove the non Special Summon clause and reduce its Defense to somewhere between 2500-2800.
