I have some Qs that I need answers for.

Hey guys, I just have a few Qs I'm confused about..

 

1- Can we activate a Trap, Spell, or Magic when a monster attacks me directly?

 

2- How do we exactly summon Xyz monsters that required 10 monsters as Xyz Materials, and we only can have 5 monsters on the field?

 

I meant monsters that have the ability to attack directly

Can we add Xyz Materials to Xyz monsters when they ran out of Materials?

Ah ok, thanks a lot. If a monster has 3 level 8 monsters, what does that mean? 3 monsters with level 8 or 8 monsters with level 3?

Three monsters that have a Level of 8. The other option is, obviously, pretty much impossible, and if it were possible, it would most likely be a huge waste of resources for you. The monster that you saw that made you think you needed 10 monsters was probably something like Super-long-name Gustav Max or so, who requires two monsters with a Level of 10.

For number 1, yes, you can activate a Spell or Trap card when a monster attacks you directly (Magic cards are now Spell Cards, in case you weren't aware).

 

As for number 2, no, you can't Xyz Summon a Xyz Monster that requires more than 5 Xyz Materials, unless it has an effect where you're able to Xyz Summon it using Xyz Materials that are Banished, in the hand, or in the Graveyard.

Unless there is a card effect that attaches itself and/or other cards to the Xyz Card (such as Xyz Reborn), your Xyz Monsters cannot gain Xyz Materials. Unless it's Dyson Sphere, but that's because it has an effect to do so.

 

If they could get more materials if they ran out, then Evolzar Laggia would be very, very happy. And that wouldn't be good at all.
