Dementuo
I'm making this topic now that Bujins have a plethora of support, and are still getting plenty more. The point of this topic is to see what people think of the archetype and give a short overview as to what the archetype really is. Of course, the goal of the deck is to (generally) put out a Yamato, and keep it alive as long as possible. Yamato himself is fairly powerful, being able to sculpt out both the grave and the hand simultaneously, while also breaking the most important rule of search monsters; It can search itself. Sure, it doesn't inherently plus, but it's still a pretty strong card. As for the Bujingis, we already have two for destruction from the grave, one for protection, one to get around bigger monsters, and two handtraps, not to mention the addition of Mikazuchi, which will simply step in and replace Yamato should he fall. We're also getting a new Bujin Beast-Warrior in Legacy that gives the deck a draw engine while also making Bujintei Kagutsuchi even more viable. As far as S/T support goes, there's a slightly restrictive Cold Wave, a Monster Reincarnation in trap form, and a freebie Xyz that requires a bit of setup. Most likely, we'll be getting 3 to 5 new Bujingis in Legacy, as well as a third Bujintei Xyz, and 1 to 2 new Spells or Traps that also fall into the archetype (Maybe a third Regalia). But anyways, go ahead and discuss. How do you think Bujins will fare in the current, pre-SHSP format? Post-SHSP? Is the deck truly meta-worthy, or is it just a good deck in the way that Spellbooks are- Capable of holding their own, but not quite tier?
Aerion Brightflame
One thing I'm wondering is if anyone from YCM has done a Black Garden build of the deck? (I ask because I've seen it frequently on DNF, but since it's DNF, I wanted a view on it from other players) The idea of it is much the same as normal builds, only it uses Black Garden to give a form of field control, aided by the fact that Hikabri essentially resets to attack halving of Garden after you drop it, which elevates the need for the card as much. That and Sussano is great target for the res ability. Literally it only differs from standard builds by teching in Garden and some terraforming. Miza is currently waiting on getting one great target for it's effect. It will make it fabulous if it gets one. I've always thought the deck can do well given how it held up partially last format of all formats
Lonk
Bujins are awesome at control. You never know when they are watching you through their secret eyes and there is no place for their opponent to hide underground. Their opponent might change their name and change their face, but the heat of the Bujins are all around them. Why? Because they are the force and the order patrol. They can make you feel the pressure, and they know that their opponent can't run forever. If their opponent makes a move without them saying, then they take them down. Really, there is no use for the opponent to keep fighting, especially when Bujins have everything set-up. Yamato is the chief officer of the order patrol. He calls in reinforcements like crazy and builds up the heat. Mikazuchi is another officer of the order patrol. When one of his fellow officers fall in battle, he comes up and forces the opponent to run. The new Bujin is the last new officer. When a Bujingi is banished, he comes out of nowhere and assists in it. The bujingi's purpose is to fill your opponent with pressure. Turtle and Crane make sure that your opponent has to think critically before approaching the situation. Then, Murakumo and Centipede keep chasing the opponent down. and despite all of this, they are a very competitively balanced archtype. They don't resort to doing stupid things like most other competitive decks, but they still apply tons of pressure on their opponents to the point where they collapse. SANDAA BORUTO
I'm gonna run Bujins this format. They will be awesome. If you don't want to run Mermails/Plant Rulers/Fire Fists, run Bujins!
Wildflame
I don't think they'll make the cut this format, even in OCG. Maybe post-Legacy.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I found it funny when I played against a Bujin player with my Volcanic deck they used the turtle's effect to negate Blaze Accelerator, but I just got back my Shell and used it again. Then he summoned the one other Bujin and I activated it again to get rid of that. From then on, he had no answers. I don't like the deck, because it's the epitome of sitting on one monster, as without that one monster the deck pretty much can't do anything. newhat
Exalted. It's a Deck style I enjoy, but most of the Bujins are dead-weight pack filler. Their double-revive spell is terrific.
