Aix
This card probably does too much. And, maybe I should've made it a Field Spell. You can Tribute Summon Level 7 or higher Plant-Type monsters with one less Tribute. Once per turn, if another card you control would be removed from the field, you can banish 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard instead.
magemeek22
Well, I like the concept. There are some serious benefits that are worthy of recognition: Useful Effect P.1: With Tytannical and other Princesses, this card is IMMENSELY USEFUL. As far as I'm concerned, I always found those monsters absolutely useless; they're too difficult to summon and even less worthy when on the field. However, this card you've designed helps get those powerful Princesses out with relative ease. Plants tend to have a continual field presence, as in you'll always have some plant monster up and running; thus, you can use this guaranteed monster as a Tribute for any and all of your Princesses. Pretty cool. I seriously could consider playing them if this card existed Useful Effect P.2: Okay, so now that its easier to get Princesses out on to the field, now you can protect them almost infinitely? Plants are known for their manipulation of the Graveyard, especially through banishing; hence, this card fits that theme perfectly. Plus, its a protective bulwark that really can only be broken down by a few card effects. Further, if you have defensive mechanisms in place, you can protect Floral Sanctuary as well (I believe one such card would be Card Protector). Thematic Consistency: Okay, let me tell you, I hate it when people make WATER cards that deal Life Point damage. Or DARK cards that heal. Or LIGHT cards that are super duper destructive. Or FIRE cards with weak ATK levels. If you're going to make a card, make it fit. And props on your solid design; it works with the banishing elements of Plants, the Continuous Spell Card support for Plants, and the trump plant Princess monsters. IT FITS PERFECTLY. BRAVO. Artwork: The art is...meh. Not my favorite, but still really good. Is it stretched out a little - it looks kinda wide. Either way, the artwork is good and it fits the card effect and theme, but I'm not gonna say I love it. But that's just personal opinion. OCG: Almost flawless. However, as with every card, there are cons: Confusing OCG: The way you wrote the card is near perfect, but a question remains: can you Tribute Summon without Tributes? As in, Tribute Summon a Level 6 without any Tributes? If that is the case, well, its overpowered. If that is not the case, I recommend changing the first sentence: "You can Tribute Summon Plant-Type monsters with one less Tribute (min. 1)." Does too much of too much (Balance): Okay, the first effect I understand. That's the point of this card. However, with the first effect alone, the card is weak. So you added the second effect. Now its makes your field near impenetrable (I understand your opponent can destroy the spell card, but still, there are ways to defend against that). The double effect is okay, but having the second effect be as powerful as it is for NO COST is kind of, well, unfair. My recommendation: make the effect only proc once or twice per turn, during either player's turn. That's really all I have. Its kinda rushed but I hope it helps! Yeah, I think I'll make the second effect once per turn. The Tribute Summon thing is actually based off of Geartown's. At first I thought there were no good level 5/6 Plant-Type monsters, but then I realize Gigaplant was a think so I'll need to change that. Thanks for the thorough review. Realizing a slight loophole with the new effect, but Queen Angel of Roses is hardly a problem.
