3 Level 4 monsters

Cannot be Special Summoned, except by Xyz Summon. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Xyz Summoned: Return it to your Extra Deck. If this card has Xyz Materials attached to it when it would return to your Extra Deck: You can Special Summon 1 of the attached Xyz Materials. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 card on the field; return that target to its owner's hand. This card cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this effect. You can only activate this effect of "Sunset Spirit Bird" twice per turn.

So, this was the card I had beta reviewed earlier. I made some changes since then after getting a few opinions. As usual, thoughtful reviews are appreciated. More-so considering this is a concept that I'm working with that could get interesting very fast and because I'm walking in the dark a bit on this. So, CnC?

As it stands, it is brutally outclassed by Verz Ourobouros: a 2750 beat stick that sticks around.

So, first things first, I'd go ahead and make it a 2-mat. It's not powerful enough to warrant 3 mats.

As a 2-mat, it's pretty good, but not broken at all. You get a bounce, but don't get to sustain a beater. You get back one of the Materials at the price of it leaving.

Another thing to consider is removing the no-attack restriction. On a single-bounce with a 22 body, I don't think that OTKing with this thing will ever be a problem, especially since it has the OPT clause.

1. It used to be 2-mat with the bounce going to the Deck instead of the hand. A Deck bounce on a 3-mat would still be powerful, so I guess I can make it a 2-mat with a hand bounce instead. Wasn't sure on that one, so I went for the safe option than the change it from broken to potentially broken.

2. It's a TPT, not a OPT. So, the no-attack restriction is entirely justified there unless I'm missing something since the right set-up with out its restriction can be very interesting (for the person with this on their side that is).

The attack restriction is completely justified, and I think it's a very powerful option. Sometimes players go into Ouroboros simply with the intention to bounce a card, and this being a near-Mist Wurm does that perfectly fine. It has its shining moments, but isn't the go to each and every time, which in my book is a sign of a balanced and useful Xyz. I don't really have any changes. Good job~

Glad to see that someone agrees with me on the attack restriction. And yea, I do think it's Spirit status makes people think about using this card's effects. Many things can happen with those two effects. Thanks for the review.

@Sora: I'll think about that. I didn't want to give it too much ATK.
