PrimeAceJohn
Need help. Not sure if a little UP especially with the ATK, so tell me what you think. D.D. FIEND GUNNER DARK * * * * [Fiend / Xyz / Effect] 2 level 4 monsters At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; banish that monster, also any battle damage your opponent takes for the rest of this turn is halved. During your opponent's next End Phase: Return the monster banished by this effect to your opponent's side of the field. goddamnit names are a pain
Grammar tips: opponent's, not opponent. Pretty awesome card though. Like Junk Archer, but an XYZ. Also, prolonged return time. Nice. I think halving the damage is a little harsh, so how about just battle damage? Effect damage still seems legit. UltimateIRS
OCG fix: At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; banish that monster, also any battle damage your opponent takes for the rest of this turn is halved. During your opponent's next End Phase: Special Summon the monster banished by this effect. This is a very badly designed effect for a generic Rank 4. It clears the board of any enemy monster, somewhat Grand Mole style...and then lets you have it next turn. There's a very good reason Goyo Guardian is banned. goddamnit names are a pain
Actually, it didn't clarify that. It could just return to the opponents field. That would be the best text, because SS might not be the best option.

I don't think it's that bad. It's pretty simple; get rid of your opponent's monster until next turn and then do it again. It helps get out of the monsters that stall like Marshmallon or something and helps hit damage. But this card is nothing like Goyo, I don't know why you would compare. Sora1499
I think ABC misread the card and thought that YOU got it back, not the opponent. It doesn't need the last clause, at all. With it, it sucks, because you're not solving the problem of an opponents monster, you're just delaying it. The rest of the card is ok: a pseudo-Catastor on a 1900 body. That's fine. So just remove that last clause and you're ok.
UltimateIRS
Okay, it should probably be as follows: At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; banish that monster until your opponent's next End Phase. Any battle damage your opponent takes for the rest of this turn is halved. ...Which, as stated above, would definitely justify removing the last clause. And no, I wasn't misreading it. All Special Summons, unless otherwise specified, are to the field of whoever activated the effect.
