Just an idea that popped into my head.

Once per turn, if your opponent controls more monsters than you do: You can special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Machine-Type or Psychic-Type monster from your hand. During the End Phase of the turn you used this cards effect: pay 500 life points or destroy this card.

I like this card, not just because it seems like it could be a real card, but because of the balance of it. There is, however, a slight OCG error.

It seems dynamic and fun, but I must complain about that cost.

THE COST TO SUMMON IS TOO DAMN HIGH!

500 would suffice, just because it can Summon Psychic. This effect wouldn't bother me if it didn't cost anything, but Psychic cost = flavorful, so I agree to some cost being there. As to what Deck it could create, I have no idea as Psychic and Machine are so different it is funny. However, a casual player could perhaps run a lot of Psychic Tuners and throw in the Gadget engine to consistently Synchro Summon. This is one of those cards that become more interesting as the game progresses, so I would like to see where this goes in the next few sets. Really nice card.

Psychic Spirituality and Therrion thank you for the suggestions, and reviews. I updated the image and the text with the fixed wording, and reduced the cost.

 

Looking at the card as I fixed it got me thinking about making a Machine/Psychic archetype with the Psychics being scientists, and support for the Machines. Might have to expand upon that.
