[TherriSingle] Ice Barrier Grif?

When this card is sent to the Graveyard to activate an effect: Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower "Ice Barrier" monster from your Deck, except "Guide of the Ice Barrier". The effect of "Icy Charm of the Ice Barrier" can only be activated once per turn.

 

Was thinking of Ice Barriers that use Tidal, and figured they could use a Gusto Grif of sorts, considering Tidal sets up Gantala and they also have Strategist. I went with the Atlantean approach, aside for any cost, considering Ice Barrier could use the boost. It'd also be somewhat interesting to see an Ice Barrier variant mixing the two, so I didn't want to deny creativity.

I think its fine. While Special Summoning from the deck is a powerful effect, I think you are giving her enough restrictions, and Ice Barriers do need the support. I guess allowing this card to Summon Ice Barriers of higher levels would be asking too much.

I like how her effect can be triggered by "Wonder Wand" and Rank 2 Xyzs such as Kappa an Shining Elf, who can be summoned with relative ease with Prior + this.

 

The name could be better, though. Even if she does look like a guide, "Guide of The Ice Barrier" sounds odd to me. I would say "Dancer" fits her better but the name is already taken by Dance Princess, so perhaps Pathfinder (a synonym of Guide) or Inspiration/Enchant/Charm (reference to her dancer appearance) would be better options?

I was considering Pathfinder, as I agree, Guide sounded weird but I just wanted to post it tbh. May try "Icy Charm" or "Frozen Charm" etc.

I wanted to include Gantala, but felt that would be too much, which is actually something I wanted feedback for. Opinions on extending it to reach all Ice Barriers?
