If this Attack Position card would be destroyed by battle, you can Discard 1 "Inkbody" monster: Until the End Phase, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can Discard 1 "Inkbody" monster: Until the End Phase, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Monsters that battle this card loose 500 ATK and DEF at the end of the Damage Step.

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Inkbody" monster from your Hand, except "Inkbody Lurking Arms". This effect of "Inkbody Lurking Arms" can only be activated once per turn.

If this card is Discarded to activate the effect of an "Inkbody" monster, you can Target 1 Face-up "Inkbody" monster you control: Target gains 800 ATK until your next End Phase. Then, during the End Phase of that turn, if you have no cards in your Hand, Draw 1 card. This effect of "Inkbody Shriek" can only be activated once per turn. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle: Add to your Hand 1 "Inkbody" card from your Deck.

If this card is Discarded to activate the effect of an "Inkbody" monster, you can Target 1 Face-up monster your Opponent controls: Target's effect is negated. This effect of "Inkbody Shadow" can only be activated once per turn. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you can Target up to 2 "Inkbody" monsters in your Graveyard, except "Inkbody Shadow": Add them to your Hand.

Pay 1000 Life Points. Special Summon 1 "Inkbody" monster from your Hand. Then, you can Special Summon 1 "Inkbody" monster from your Deck to your Opponent's side of the field. Then, Draw 1 card during the End Phase. You cannot Special Summon other monsters during the turn you activated this effect.

So let's go through these:

-the archetype in general: quite the unique idea, I must say. I love the general design, I love the fact that "spilling" these cards prevents some of them from being destroyed is really useful. But the main problem here is the lack of cards. A few more monsters (maybe including a rank 4 Xyz Monster, too) and a few more support non-monster cards would be immensely helpful. Also with Shriek, Shadow and Disaster I am a bit unsure about the correctness of the OCG...

- Brawler: I would either increase his ATK or increase the stat reduction caused by this card effect. Even with 1700 ATK it would still be rather balanced, in my opinion. Alternativly buff up the stat reduction to 700 or 800. Also he looks the cutest, which I think is funny.

- Lurking Arms: Now that effect is rather solid! It allows for quick Xyz Summons, both monsters can attack if necessary... And the stats are okay as well.

- Shriek: Draw power plus ATK increase... Quite nice, I must say. The fact that it is a searcher helps as well, especially since it isn't limited to monsters.

- Shadow: This guy looks frightning... But it's effects are awesome!

- Disaster: Spilling ink all over the mat, huh? Sounds pretty good, though maybe allowing you to summon that Inkbody monster your opponent gets from the Graveyard would be more practical.

 

Overall I like it! The art is amazing, the effects fit the theme and the cards are balanced. A solid 8/10 for this set in its current state.
