Nathanael D. Striker
Cannot be Special Summoned, except by Synchro Summon. This card cannot attack directly. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Synchro Summoned: Return it to your Extra Deck. When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target cards up to the number of cards used to Synchro Summon this card; return those targets to their respective owner's hand. You can only activate this effect of "Mystic Dragon of the Hidden Valley" once per turn. I put a couple of those clauses in there, just to be safe. This was a card made out of boredom, and I did like the concept as I was making it. The +1 (which will happen under most circumstances) is entirely justifiable since it becomes a +0 at the End Phase. I also feel that the inability to attack directly and the restriction on the overall effect use helps prevent abusability, but I've been wrong before. So, CnC? goddamnit names are a pain
So, upon Summon, it bounces at least 2 cards. You put in clauses to stop De-Synchro and such (good!). Nice name and pic. I see nothing wrong with this, except the potential to bounce 5 cards on the field to the owner's hand (It would take a little work, but something like "Star Light, Star Bright" could work to do this). This card is certainly better than that Vulcan the Divine BS I'm getting soon. And, the name makes me want ranch. XD
Nathanael D. Striker
Thanks for the review Tech. On your point about the 5 cards being bounced, "Star Light, Star Bright" would be difficult to pull off considering each monster has to have the same ATK or DEF. And tbh, I did limit that possibility by adding the OPT clause in there. And sorry about that. The background had pieces of grass, so I had to go with a valley. :

I'm the kind of person that would spend an hour just trying to think of a way to use five monsters for this summon. XD I just used Star Light to name a card that shifts all levels. Maybe combo this with level 3's and a Mischief of the Yokai? I don't know. =P
newhat
I don't see the natural +1. I don't see much call for this. It's like a Vulcan that can use to recycle a Tenki you activated this turn, and bounce more of either player's cards, at the cost of not being able to win that turn because it can't attack directly. Instead of "clear the field and maybe recycle something", it would be useful for exclusively bouncing enemy monsters or recycling your own cards, since otherwise Vulcan would outclass it. Nathanael D. Striker
newhat, I took a look at Vulcan. Nothing is telling me that it would outclass this. On the contrary, this fills a somewhat different niche than Vulcan does. Also, this gives you more freedom than Vulcan does at the price of not being able to attack directly. Just my thoughts on it.
