Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon or Normal Set. If this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can target up to 2 Rock-type monsters in your Graveyard and switch this card to Defense Position; Special Summon them, then send up to 2 Rock-type monsters from your Deck to your Graveyard. If this card is targeted by an opponent's card effect: You can discard 1 Rock-type monster; negate that effect and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

*Supported by "The Trojan Horse" since it requires Tributes, not monsters.

 

Since Tribute monsters have gotten some support and they are still not very good. I though I should take the time to make a Tribute Monster. Pretty simple card, turns a -2 into a +0 and gives you a controlled mill, then has protection so you don't lose that hard work too quickly...

The card is a great idea but with 4K DEF and that last effect ( If this card is targeted by an opponent's card effect: You can discard 1 Rock-type monster; negate that effect and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.) its basically indestructible if u play a Rock-Type deck.

I can see this combo'ing with Gaia Plate. Special Summon Gaia Plate, mill cards to help sustain it, and if Gaia Fortress comes under threat, load the Graveyard with more Rocks to sustain Gaia Plate while also inflicting burn damage.

 

But then again, after Gaia Fortress Special Summons the Rocks, there isn't much reason to keep it on the field, since you're not likely attacking with it, and you'd prefer to keep whatever it is that you've Special Summoned.
