Kydarian, The Energy King

........!

Recommended Posts

Lore: Only 1 of each of these exist, they are the spiritual-embodiment of Yin and Yang. If they are to ever come together in battle, they can cause either total destruction of all life, or the creation of dimensions. It all relies on who controls them. Once they are fused, they can never return to normal.

This monster is immune to Spell and Trap Cards. As long as this monster is on the field, Spell and Trap Cards cannot directly target (Or damage) you. This monster can transfer 1000 of it's ATK and DEF to any other monster on the field instead of attacking. If this monster remains on the field for 10 turns, you win the game.
More Lore: Psionic is not a real type, nor is CORRUPT a real attribute. I like making new types so thats why I did this.

Psionic monsters are different from Psychic, Psionic monsters are monsters that can indefinitely manipulate matter and energy in order to attack. They are usually from an upper dimension.

In order to control the fused monster, one must have a Mellenium piece, and wait for a full moon. If you try to control it at any other time, it will most-definitely either refuse or attempt to kil you.

Question is: How does one fuse them, without a proper card to fuse into?

Alright, now that we're seeing a proper fusion of them, shouldn't the fusion have an "instant-win" effect the moment it's Fusion Summoned using Kydarians from both sides of the field? After all, "whoever fuses them both first" wins the Duel.

Yeah...I think I'll be getting rid of that part, I redecided and instead after 10 turns it's an Instant-Win.

Now then, on to the lore.

Unlike MtG, we don't have effects that target players. We should, though, but Yugioh has had its roots in being a 2-player game, and switching to multiplayer without house rules would break things.

Don't you think you should have the names differ so as to prevent confusion between which card?
Once per turn at During the End Phase: This card monster loses 500 ATK and DEF, also place an Archon Counter on this card. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. If this monster remains on the field for 10 turns, you win the game.
I'm going to assume the Archon must remain face-up for 10 turns straight, and if it gets flipped face-down or whatnot the turn count resets. Well, it helps that it has Spell/Trap effect immunity.

I am using StarCraft-related artwork, but they're not StarCraft-related in design. =p

The point of them having the same name is to be confusing, they're 2 halves of the same coin.

And BOTH of their effects are cancelled out if both of them are on the field, not just the opponents. But than again, if they are both on the field than they'd be effecting each other...*Shrug* BUT AGAIN, you don't necessarily know just from reading the ONE card that the other one does the same thing.

I'll fix what errors make sense to me as errors and update the cards once they're done. =p

Edit: "Unlike MtG, we don't have effects that target players. We should, though, but Yugioh has had its roots in being a 2-player game, and switching to multiplayer without house rules would break things." I meant Spell/Traps that force the player to show their hand or cards in their deck, or anything kinda like that...

Edit2: Okay, here are the fixed OCG

Also, not all the OCG errors are fixed on purpose. Still say if there are any, though. Because I don't know if there are still some that are being overlooked.

Target players. Most of the time, in Yugioh, any effect that affects a player normally says "your opponent (does action here)". Which leads to some mild confusion over what to do when such a card is played in Yugioh multiplayer. Does it affect whom one chooses? Does it affect all? Or just the opponent sitting opposite you? There is no "Target player (does action here)" in Yugioh.
