Northern Sage
Gorgonic Golem: Rock/Effect When this card is destroyed by battle: The ATK of the monster thatdestroyed it becomes 0. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Set Spell/Trap card your opponent controls; this turn, that Set card cannot be activated. Your opponent cannot activate the targeted card in response to this card's activation. Gorgonic Gargoyle: Rock/Effect When you Normal Summon a Rock-Type monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Gorgonic Ghoul: If you control a "Gorgonic Ghoul": You can pay ??? Life Points; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can use the effect of "Gorgonic Ghoul" up to twice per turn. Gorgonic Cerberus: When this card is Normal Summoned: You can make all Rock-Type monsters you currently control become Level 3. So, Golem now also has an interesting gimmick, Gargoyle is slightly more generic and can aid in Rank 3s, Ghoul is practically the same, depending on the LP pay and Cerberus is sort of a Bernard's Falcon for rock-types. 玄魔の王
Is it sad this archetype got more love than Malicevorous? They're good at what they do, save Ghoul which is wtf.jpg.
newhat
Calling it: They get a 3-part Rank 3 Xyz Monster you're supposed to make with Cerberus and 2 Ghoul, but no way to search Cerberus.
