AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW Posted November 26, 2013 Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 Because there is definitely nothing wrong with making broken cards if you limit it to affecting certain things. :| LIGHT and DARK Attributes are the two most common Attributes in the game (well, EARTH has a bunch of monsters, but they aren't supported as well as DARK or LIGHT), and this becomes an easily Side-Deckable card that can singlehandedly screw your opponent over just for playing one of those Attributes in the same exact ways Change of Heart or Brain Control can. It punishes a plethora of Decks just for having a LIGHT or DARK monster out, and many of those Decks often need monsters of either Attribute out to avoid getting dead'd the next turn. Cards like Electric Virus do exist, I know, but they encompass a much smaller pool of monsters. And just because Konami did it doesn't mean that you should do it too.
