This card is treated as an appropriate monster for any Machine-Type Union Monster. Once per turn: You can equip 1 Machine-Type Union monster on the field, your hand or from either player's Graveyard to this card, and treat it as if it was equipped by its own effect. While this card is equipped with an Union Monster, it gains 500 ATK and is unaffected by your opponent's Spell Cards.

And old card of mine that now I am reposting with an improved effect and updated OCG.

Trivia:

- The protection she gains against Spells is a reference to Machines being unaffected by Spells in the first episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh.

- This card having "Giga-Tech" on its name is intentional, with the purpose of potentially developing a "Giga-Tech" archetype, which would benefit from an existing "Giga-Tech" Normal Monster ("Giga-Tech Wolf") + Rescue Rabbit. However, as of now I have not made any other "Giga-Tech" monster.

When I first made this card, Xyzs didn't exist so the best you could do with this card was to use it as a beater or revive an XYZ Union for a contact Fusion. Needless to say, the arrival of Xyzs improved this card as now it can be used as a 1-card Xyz Summon along with Level 4 Union Monsters.

Thoughts?

I am considering changing her to Machine-Type for more sinergy with the Machine Union Monsters and for Xyz Summoning Gear Gigant X. What do you think of this idea?

Update:

Changed to Machine-Type and now can equip Unions from the hand.

Machine-type she will be, then.

I will also remove her ability of equipping the opponent's Unions on the field, just to be safe. While your opponent leaving an Union on the field is unlikely, I don't want to grant this card the chance of generating additional pluses.

Opponent

                     union

     field

            lolz

play

         monster

                         degenerate

Honestly though, unions aren't common, except for one I can think of. I think it being a mini counter of sorts is a good idea.

I just thought that gaining a +2 from stealing the opponent's Union and then possibly go for an Xyz would be too powerful, even if it would be stupidly situational.

If no one thinks it might become a problem, then I will leave it as it is.

That aside, I'm thinking in letting this card equip Machines from the hand as well, so it would also work as a monster version of "Frontline Base" for Machine Unions.

Not a +2. Its a once per turn that equips union monsters. I can see how you de equip and Xyz, but that is situational and doesn't do anything too powerful, except let you search her again with GGX. Which isn't overpowered, its just a combo.
