Althemia
BannedReturn from the Different DimensionSixth SenseCrimson BladerLimitedSacred Sword of Seven StarsDragon RavineSemi-LimitedBlaster, Dragon Ruler of InfernosRedox, Dragon Ruler of BouldersTempest, Dragon Ruler of StormsTidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls

BannedReturn from the Different Dimension - I really shouldn't need to explain this, but this card is literally Rekindling except for anything and more importantly, for Decks that really do not deserve it. A deck that will play Return from the Different Dimension should and always will win on the turn that you flip it. Does not deserve to stay.Sixth Sense - 1/3 chance of literally being a draw 5/6 cards. Miss it? You get Graveyard set-up. It's not especially a very well designed card and the only reason why Konami put it to 1 was to try and sell Joey's World. Doesn't need to stay around any more now that Dragons should be on the way out.Crimson Blader - This is probably going to be the one thing that actually puts mine in front of other people's lists, but I really do feel that this card should not exist now. With the gamestate that Konami is attempting to create, it can literally become a card that shuts your opponent out of the entire game for literally existing. And if you want to outplay it by not playing anything for it to kill? You literally die. It should be gone in order to make Level 5 or higher monsters become more viable. Generic Ophion should go.LimitedSacred Sword of Seven Stars - I feel them doing this just because they don't want to take chances with it. It can be an incredibly powerful card for letting you draw 2 cards by trading in what could be considered an expendable resource at that moment, basically becoming a Trade-In except also for the field. Of course, this is one which I'm wonky on and could arguably just stay at 3, but I can see them putting it to 1 just to be safer than sorry.Dragon Ravine - Powerful card now that Dragunity have a card named Tempest. Being able to search the Dux with a Phalanx in grave is enough to put game on board in one fell swoop, so I would like to cut the searching power in this deck down considerably by limiting this card. Tempest can easily do the same thing as it anyway, and no-one wants another Dragon Ruler format where this card becomes 2 colours for the price of one.Semi-LimitedAll of the big Dragons - I don't think they're powerful enough to limit, I'll honestly admit it. I've always been a firm believer that the Dragons would be fine at 2 if their support was just gone, which more than anything has always been the bigger problem with the deck to me. I always disliked cards like Ravine and Star Sword, which actually help the deck plow through lots of cards for absolutely no reason. They are too powerful at 3 though, I will admit, so I believe that putting them to 2 will be the optimal way of actually making them fair and just generally good attribute support for their decks. Though I think that Tidal might be an incredibly problematic card with Mermail still running around, I cannot see them doing anything but dismantling Dragons in the coming TCG list.

Semi-LimitedGrand MoleUnlimitedT.G. Striker
Will update with more as I think of stuff, I think I got most of my thoughts down on what I believe should be a decent mentality toward how to approach dissecting a format like this. I don't really see why I would hit anything else when it's not necessary.

goddamnit names are a pain
Thank you. I disagree with Blader though. I think it seems harsh, yet right. So many decks just tech this out of nowhere just because they can. It's awful, shuts down whole decks, and has ATK to match/beat commonly played Monsters today with such a ludicrous effect. Dragon Rulers, Dark World, Fire King, Machina, Quasar. Just to name a few decks to get shut down. I do like that it stops JD plays though. I'm still very attached to Sixth Sense. Leave me alone. Grave set up usually fails when I play Sixth Sense, and I mill all the cards I need. And that 5/6 cards feels so good when fighting decks that you might not ever beat. Considering the fact that I don't see many meta decks teching them (forgive me for saying that), I think it is a great help to older decks. And now I'm feeling stupid for actually buying a card, which I don't normally do, so I guess lesson learned.

It's degenerate as shit and shouldn't exist.

Not just Quasar plays with Sixth Sense....ok, for the most part, that is where my argument comes from. Not going into an argument about Quasar...its not happening.... I did ramble about Sixth, didn't I? Sorry about that. Just got home from school and my mind is literally thinking crap right now. Scratch that off the record.
