Help with deck disregarding limited/banned cards

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and haven't played Yugioh since before xyz and Synchro summonings. My friends and I have recently decided to start playing again and we are all going to buy new cards and make new decks since our old cards are outdated. I did some research and am interested in fire fists, inzektors, noble knights, evilswarm, bujins, etc. We are disregarding the card limit factor and banned cards, so any cards are viable. For example, there is no limit to how many inzektor dragonflies we can use (normally only 1 per deck. What kind of deck would be the most powerful if I can have three of any card I want and how should I go about making this deck. I want to make the strongest deck as possible. Thank you for the help!

The best decks out there at the moment are Fire Fist, Mermail, Spellbooks, Geargia, and Bujin. Aix has a good Geargia deck, Koko has a good Fire Fist deck, Dem probably has a good Spellbook deck, and I have a good Bujin deck. You can find all of these in the TCG Decks section. Hope this helps!

If you're disregarding the Ban List, then the best deck to make is Exchange of Spirit FTK, at least objectively. The deck is basically 2-3 Makyura the Destructors, 1 Exchange of spirit, and a bunch of stuff to draw and/or discard Markyura, to get 15+ cards in your grave, then using Exchange of Spirit to force a deckout on the opponent.

...Though I presume you're looking for something that ISN'T an FTK or OTK, huh?

Yeah I hope you realize that if you completely disregard the banlist, you can come up with decks that are literally just "I go first I win". It is extremely easy to FTK. The banlist exists for a reason and makes the game more fun. Just giving some advice.

If there was no banlist whatsoever, the best archetypes would probably be Wind-Ups, Lightsworn, Blackwings and Chaos. Unlimited Witch of the Black Forest, Sangan, Goyo, Dark Strike Fighter, Magician, Zenmaity and Chaos Emperor Dragon?

Take Away the Banish, you have all 8 Rulers and Super Revuj back to 3. Rulers can run LIGHT and DARK mons to fuel CED. Do not let this happen.

Also... is this the right section for this? I feel this is a Deck Discussion question.

Not only did you not answer the question, but you didn't provide any help. You didn't link to any of these decks, and since their usernames aren't what you listed he's never gonna find them (it's A I X, note the spaces, Luquier, and I don't know who the hell Dem is.)

Secondly, none of that matters because none of those decks would be good in a no-banlist format.

on-topic: If you're allowed no maximum of any card, the obvious answer is 35 Pot of Greed and 5 Pieces of Exodia.

If you still have to obey the maximum of three, I'd probably do something like:

5 Pieces of Exodia
3 Mayura the Destructor
3 Royal Magical Library

3 Pot of Greed
3 Graceful Charity
3 Upstart Goblin
3 One Day of Peace
3 Dark World Dealings
3 Into the Void
1 Reinforcements of the Army
1 Pot of Duality

3 Jar of Greed
3 Legacy of Yata-Garasu
3 Reckless Greed

I didn't link him because it was late at night. Shoot me. And I think I helped, because he PM'd me himself thanking me for my help.

...Dem the Dragophile? You don't know who that is? Also why is it necessary to link them, it's incredibly easy to search them since these text strings are pretty unique.

Also, you were playing when Spellbooks had 3 Judgment, right?

Is that who Dem is? If so, no I don't know who the fuck that is.

Using the search feature on YCM? Good joke human! Tell another!

But seriously, there's dozens of decks on YCM and he didn't even give the actual names of the people who made the deck. "Easy peasy lemon squeezy!"

What relevance does this have to anything? What relevance does anything you said in your post have to do with a no-banlist format?

What the fuck is going on in this topic!?

But seriously, a no-banlist format is pretty much all FTKs and broken crap. He specifically said: "I want to make the strongest deck as possible." so of course, you're gonna have to provide FTKs and OTKs and stuff. So suddenly interjecting with "Hurr! Fire Fists and Mermails and Spellbooks and Geargia and Buijin!" makes you look like a knob who just wants to jerk off himself and his friends instead of providing an answer to a question.

in my opinion

There's nothing remotely fun in unlimited format. Stick to traditional, if you must.

There's still very little fun in that and there are still FTKs and ridiculously broken and unfair stuff like Yata lock etc. Really if you want to have the most fun with the game either play Jan 2014 or Goat Format.
