Get ready for the Legendary Bird of Thunder Zapdos !
Zapdos is definitely a game changer with his special ability to paralyze your opponents ability to use spell or trap cards for 2 whole turns as soon as he hits the field ! He also has a second ability to increase his attack power by sacrifices Thunder allies from your hand.

Lore: When this card is tribute summon your opponent cannot activate spell/trap cards until his/her 2nd End Phase. Once per turn you can banish Thunder monster(s) from your hand; increase this card ATK by 700 for each monster banish by this cards effect.

Lore correction:

 

When this card is Tribute Summoned: Your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap cards until his/her their 2nd End Phase after this effect's resolution. Once per turn: You can banish any number of Thunder-Type monsters from your hand; increase this card gains ATK by 700 ATK for each monster banished this way by this cards effect.

 

The first effect is what people would play Zapdos for, since the ATK boost won't exactly be worth the trade-off in most people's eyes unless they're pushing for damage. I would make it a Quick Effect, but seeing that it's a permanent buff, the current effect would still be fine.

In that case, here's how it's done.

 

When this card is Tribute Summoned: Your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap cards until his/her their 2nd End Phase after this effect's resolution. Once per turn: You can banish any number of Thunder-Type monsters from your hand; until the End Phase, increase this card gains ATK by 700 ATK for each monster banished this way by this cards effect.

The underlined portion is my further amendment.

 

Since it's a temporary boost, I can suggest making the second effect a Quick Effect by changing its condition to "Once per turn, during either player's turn:" This adds a nice surprise element and lets one use the effect in both offensive and defensive situations to justify its cost.
