Type: Normal
Activate 1 of these effects;
● Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Soldier" monster from your Deck to your hand.
● Reveal 1 "Soldier" monster in your hand, and if you do, add, from your Deck to your hand, 1 monster with 2500 or less ATK with the same Type as the revealed monster.

 

I know "Soldier" is not an official archetype, but there are so many "Soldier" monsters, and some of them are members of an archetype, that I thought it would be hilarious if they suddenly received some kind of support.

 

The first effect is your cookie-cutter searcher, and archetypes that have a Soldier monster would gain the option of running this and said Soldier for Deck thinning.

But things get interesting with the second effect: If you already have a Soldier, and you don't want another Soldier that will most likely clog in the hand, you can search instead another monster that you actually want, as long as it has the same Type as the Soldier you run. This effect has an ATK limit because being able to search powerful monsters such as BLS, Dark Armed, etc. would be too much.

 

In short, this Spell Card would turn Soldiers into an interesting engine where you don't even have to max the copies of said Soldier, and there the risk for this card ending up dead is low.

 

I named the card like that because I want to make more "Dagger" cards that support "Soldiers" , but I'm still working on that.
