Neutrality Man
MegaCapitalG: There need to be more, better Life Point recovery cards. I happen to agree, all the best ones are Psychic Synchros and Solemn Wishes, or give the Life Gain to the opponent.

When this card is activated: Gain 1000 LP, even if this card is no longer on the Field when this effect resolves. During each of your Standby Phases: Place 1 Life Counter on this card. When this card is removed from the field; gain 1000 800 Life Points for every Life Counter on this card. During your Main Phase 1: You can Banish this face-up card you control.

When this card is activated: Gain 1000 LP, even if this card is no longer on the Field when this effect resolves. Unless the activation is negated, you're guaranteed at least +1000 LP. MST will not prevent that 1000 like it does the "Fire Formation - Tenki" search. During each of your Standby Phases: Place 1 Life Counter on this card. When this card is removed from the field; gain 800 Life Points for every Life Counter on this card. Your opponent will want to destroy this card fast, before it can charge too high. ADDED in v3 During your Main Phase 1: You can Banish this face-up card you control. Self-Trigger for the charged Heal. Banishing puts it out of Magician of Faith's range.
A good Side Deck answer for this: Bad Reaction to Simochi and/or Nurse Reficule the Fallen One, which both turn Heal into Burn. Also of note is that it is an Ultra-Rare. Do consider that when gauging its power. R/C/F?
BleuConviction
You should change the 1000LP per turn to something lower like 500 ( I feel this will balance the card out.) However, I can agree with MegaCapitalG's statement about LP recovery cards so do what you think is right. ( I'm actually subscribed to him on youtube. :D) Overall: 9/10 ( The need for recovery cards is there but 1000LP + 1000 for each of your standby phases is a little too much.) Neutrality Man
Hmmm... I honestly feel 500 per turn would be too low. Maybe 700 or 800?
BleuConviction
Yeah that's fine. Whatever to balance the card out.
Neutrality Man
The other option would be to put a cap on the Life Counter gathering, but that would seriously lower the psychological "rush" factor to the card's design. Based on the duels I've played/spectated on DevPro AND DuelingNetwork today, 800 per Life Counter seems a good number. Not too many like I had, not too few like Solemn Wishes. When this card is removed from the field; gain 1000 Life Points for every Life Counter on this card.Your opponent will want to keep this on the field forever eating one of your zones, or destroy it fast. Unless you're playing Artifacts or Scraps, you won't even get the extra healing. Most of the time, it'll be a lot better to MST an opponent's card than your own just for a 2000-3000 Life Point gain. A good Side Deck answer for this: Bad Reaction to Simochi and/or Nurse Reficule the Fallen One, which both turn Heal into Burn need to be banned so we can have cards that give your opponent a ton of Life Points as a drawback. Fixed. Also of note is that it is an Ultra-Rare. Do consider that when gauging its power. I read this comment as "This card's name is prettier, so I think it should be more powerful." Plus, you would have to start the game with this card, then manage to get rid of it yourself (not a problem in Scraps of Artifacts. Scraps have two Synchros that don't mind getting rid of this to activate their effect, and Artifacts could just blow it up with Malcat, or, *shudders* Double Cyclone), just to gain a lot of healing. And what if you don't have MST? Or you used it on something your opponent had? Then this is just going to sit there, accumulating counters for the next two-so turns until you lose for drawing this instead of something more useful. Dian Keto's 1k gain is completely canceled out by pretty much any monster that attacks directly. And if you're winning, then the healing did absolutely nothing for you. If you're losing, it is possible for the 1k heal to have not helped you at all, whether it be because your opponent dealt so much damage that having 9000 Life Points didn't help, or because your opponent had another monster to finish you off anyway. Having nicer healing options would be nice, but this is just too slow and resource-devouring to make the cut.

Neutrality Man
So, Dian Keto without the boobies. Dian Keto's a chick? Hmm... so a self-activation clause would be prudent? Like say... "During your Main Phase 1: you can banish this face-up card you control."? Also of note is that it is an Ultra-Rare. Do consider that when gauging its power.I read this comment as "This card's name is prettier, so I think it should be more powerful." I imagine my cards actually being IN Booster Packs. As such I try and make them worth the rarity I assign them. My weaker cards are Commons and Silver-Letter Rares, Supers above that (I have foil overlays for images on those.), Ultra/Ultimates a bit stronger than that, and my Top-tier cards get Secret. you must not post another card in the thread, just edit your first postMy bad, fixed. "During your Main Phase 1: you can banish this face-up card you control."? That would definitely help. It would probably still be too slow, but making it "fast enough" with your idea would result in this being some sort of super-Solemn Wishes that inexperienced players would call broken on the spot. Also, Dian Keto's a chick? Yes, she is.
-Noel-
Well I agree that LP recovery cards should be more, but I didn't like how a card like Magical Android and Solemn Wish (maybe including this card) worked, just a few recovery per turn? My most favorite LP cards nowadays is C101
Neutrality Man
The problem is, Life Gain can be easily OP if you can do it too often in a turn. Remember, Cyber-Stein is LEGAL in Japan, and so should be considered among possible plays because that means they're also legal at Worlds. Trishula is back to 1 over there too.
