hello YCM, its been awhile since i've been on. Nearly a year actually! Anyways, I haven't been keeping much track on yugioh for some time now so i would like to know what you guys think of an old card set i made a couple of years back and if they've held up at. When i originally posted them people said they were balanced but who knows how the new cards have changed that so let me know what i can do to bring them up to date.

Xyz monsters are new in that i didn't post them back then since YCM didn't have the template.

Heres a quote from the original thread saying what their about:

[spoiler/]each card represents a memory; the first 3 being good and the last 3 being bad memories related to someones death. each cards attribute and the first part of their name represents the person in the memory while the type and second part of their name represents the place/event of the memory. memories are a normal part of life that can have a drastic affect on someone so i chose to make then count as both a normal monster and an effect monster at all times. hope you like the set
[spoiler/]This card is also treated as a Normal Monster. This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of your Spell Cards. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all "Memory" monsters you control gain 400 ATK and DEF. If this card is sent to the graveyard: destroy 1 card on the field.
[spoiler/]This card is also treated as a Normal Monster. This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of your Spell Cards. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, if a "Memory" monster you control would be destroyed by a card effect, you can discard 1 card instead. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: add 1 Spell Card with "Normal Monster" printed in the effect text box from your deck to your hand.

Memory isn't a realistic type for Yugioh, so this thread will be moved by mods to Any Other Cards forum soon and another thing, since there are 2 or more cards here, so it should be in Multiple Cards forum (but not this time)

Woah I think they are pretty strong since they are all considered Normal Monsters and they can pretty much dominate the field once you control at least 2 . I really do like the concept but I feel like players would abuse some of these effects like the Xyz monster's: "The effect of this card cannot be negated" - I think that's a little OP I mean a player using another card to stop effects is there for a reason and it clearly becomes a dead card if you now monsters can't even be negated, so yeah I don't like that. Overall though I really enjoy this archtype and I think it would be abused the hell of it, yes haha people would use it very efficiently! Congrats on it!

I doubt this will be a problem seeing as this thread has been around for a bit, but the amount of blood on "Memory of Akihiko" and on your XYZ might be disturbing to some creators and viewers. Not saying it's set in stone in the rules but I think a little warning would be a good idea. I could just be overreacting though. Anyway, sorry for rambling. I really like the deck at this point, can't wait to see more posts from you.
