mariofred
Hi everybody! This is my first archetype on YCM. Their strategy goes quite minus, so there a few 'overpowered' searchers to balance that out. Hope you like it! Rusty/Rust Archetype Main Deck Monsters
Rusty Motorcar Level 4, EARTH, Machine/Effect You can discard this card; Special Summon 1 "Rusty" monster from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned from the hand: Add 1 "Rusty" monster from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Special Summon other monsters from your hand the turn you activate this effect. ATK: 1600, DEF: 1500

Rusty Motorcycle Level 4, EARTH, Machine/Effect During either player's turn: You can discard this card to target 1 "Rusty" monster you control; once this turn, that target cannot be destroyed. ATK: 1400, DEF: 1200

Rustmobile Level 2, EARTH, Machine/Effect You can discard this card to target 2 "Rusty" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle 1 of those targets into your Deck and add the second target to your hand, and if you do, add 1 "Rusty" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate the effect of "Rusty Transporter" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect, except "Rusty" monsters. ATK: 500, DEF: 600

Rusty Locomotive Level 4, EARTH, Machine/Effect If you control a "Rusty" monster: You can discard this card to target Spell/Trap card your opponent controls; destroy that target. The Great Milenko
I like them. They seem to have a lot of power with all the Searches. Rusty Workshop seems kinda pointless, because all the Rusty monsters say you can't Special Summon other monsters from the hand the turn you use their effects, so Workshop would stop them from using their effects. Rusty Plating is way OP cause you can just Set another one. The Field is meh, but more searching is never bad. I don't see the point of Ancient Infernon or Archaic Rustron. mariofred
Fixed Workshop, Plating and Reactor! Archaic Rustron is meant to be the boss monster searchable by the Synchro/Xyz. Ancient Infernon is a Synchro that can be used in any Machine deck that can also become a Rusty.

Spinny
Hey really cool archetype ^^ I like how you dealt with having cards in your hand by having their effects search for more so you dont lose hand control ^^
mariofred
Thanks! I came up with Motorcar's effect first and couldn't be bothered to change it, so I added other cards to make up for its flaws.

Danimally
Wow, rusty powwa x3 Well, i have to say..that Rusty mobile. U know, you add 1 card to your hand and another to your deck...but them you can add it to your hand too. It's like "ok let's shuffle this". Check it pls. About Rusty Robot, i think 2000/2400 for a 4 stars xyz it's a bit overpowered. And about Ancient Infernon, maybe you need to check that "returning" effect. You know, it's ok, but...i don't like how it smells. I would need to test it in a game. Nothing more to say. In fact, i think you made a very balanced archetype. razzy
I really like the idea of them. And pretty good job with the ocg and such. They seem all pretty well balanced. My only real concern is Ancient Infernon, being able to bonce something back each turn. Also on mechabot I think it should say Set instead of face-down. But they are all clever and first reading them I was getting worried with all the searching that you would run out of resources (monsters), but then you seemed to get that covered too. So good job :)
