If your opponent controls a monster, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributes. Once per turn, you can Discard 1 Machine-Type monster and Target 1 monster on the field: Destroy it, and if you do, this card looses 1000 ATK and DEF until the opponent's End Phase. If this card, with 1000 or less ATK is destroyed by your opponent's card(either by battle or card effect), you can Target 1 other DARK Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard: Add it to your hand.

If your opponent controls a monster with 2500 or more ATK, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributes, in Face-up Defense Position. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card(either by battle or card effect), you can pay half your Life Points: Special Summon 1 DARK Machine-Type monster from your Deck. During this turn, the Summoned monster's effect(s) are negated, and if it is destroyed(either by battle or card effect), Target 1 card on the field: Destroy it.

If a DARK Machine-Type monster you control is destroyed by your opponent's card(either by battle or card effect), you can Special Summon this card(from your hand). If this card is Special Summoned in this way, you can either add to your hand 1 Level 5 or higher DARK Machine-Type monster from your Deck, OR Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher DARK Machine-Type monster from your hand. This effect of "Steel Ogre Dynamo" can only be activated once per turn.

If you control no monsters, you can Banish 2 DARK Machine-Type monsters: 1 from your hand and 1 from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card(from your hand). Once per turn, you can Excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck: Add any Excavatated DARK Machine-Type monsters to your hand, also send the other cards to the Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects that do not Target. If this card is destroyed by battle: Draw 1 card.

You can Discard 1 other Machine-Type monster: Special Summon this card(from your hand). DARK Machine-Type monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF for each Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard. This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a DARK Machine-Type monster. If you Tribute Summon a DARK Machine-Type monster by Tributing this card, you can Target 1 Set card on the field: Destroy it.
