During the turn you activate this effect, this card cannot attack. Your opponent cannot activate spell cards during the battle phase.

 

Death Avenger

This card canot be destroyed by battle with a monster that has the same ATK. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard: Your opponent cannot summon a monster from their extra deck during their next turn.

Decayed Sorcerer is a bit too strong.
Given the nature of Plaguespreader, and Zombies in general, plus the fact it's an Extra Deck monster...
You could, very easily, Summon like 2-3 of them in a single turn. Not to mention, it prevents things from potentially chaining to it, and makes it harder to deal with.

i changed it to "1 face-up card" so that it's more of a polar opposite to barbaric slayer.
