Once per turn; You can equip 1 "Inzektor" monster from your hand or Graveyard to this card.

If an Equip Card(s) is sent to your Graveyard while equipped to this card (except during the Damage Step): You can send 1 monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. 

While this card is equipped to a monster: You can send this Equip Card to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect once per turn.

Inzektors don't have any monster that has both the effect to unequip to do something and to do something when something is unequipped from it, and it hurts their consistency since you always need two rather picky Inzektors for the deck to work, so I thought there should be something that allows the deck to go off more easily but also giving it more ammunition for the later stages of a duel while not ignoring the teamwork Inzektors need to use to work. 

 

The first effect is rather standard, send a monster to the graveyard. You can send Hornet, Giga-Mantis, Ladybug or even Dragonfly/Centipede to set up a revive play with cards like "Call of the haunted", "Powerful Rebirth" or "Pinpoint Guard". If you're running Effect Veiler/BLS this will make it more accessible to use set that play up. A versatile and basic effect that I think the deck could really use.

 

The second effect is very late game centered while also not too abusive. If you start with dragonfly + Mantis you can't go into a big play. This effect in the early stages is meant mostly just to be something to trigger dragonfly/centipede. In the later stages this is basically a once per turn free level 4. 

 

But it also gives the deck more rank 4 plays, more consistency and gives another purpose to "Insect Imitation". 

1800 atk and def is just another way of showing how versatile he can be. With Sword he's 2600 both sides, a good offense and defense. Similar to how his effect/level/stats are good at every stage of the game.

 

The only real combos I can think of are;

 

*Centipede, equips Mantis, un-equip to SS. Search for Ladybug, Mantis uses ladybug to increase Centipede by 1 level. Rank 4 play.

*Dragonfly, equips Mantis, un-equip to SS. Special summon Hopper/Mantis for Rank 4 OR Special summon Hornet, leviathan or w/e, detach hornet, hopper+hornet pops 1 card. 

 

Can't think of anything else to say. So what do you guys think?
