Demonic Archtype

This is the Demon arch type I came up with, it works by boosting the stronger cards and tributing weaker monsters piled with Soul counters.

Please leave comments on what you think of it, I would be happy to change or remove badly designed cards.

 

Monsters

Cthulu

[Fiend / Effect]

Dark

2000 ATK / 0 DEF

Level 7

When Cthulu enters the field put 3 Soul counters on target creature. Increase the ATK of this card by 500 every time you enter your standby phase. if this card has a card equipped to it, is in defence position, or hasn't attacked by the end phase: Destroy it.

Demon Lord

[Fiend / Effect]

Dark

2000 ATK / 200 DEF

Level 6

This card gains 500 ATK for each Fiend on your side of the field. Fiend-Type monsters (except for this card) on your side of the field lose 500 DEF and gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, you can tribute target monster and destroy an opposing monster who's level is lower than the amount of counters on the tributed monster.

Demonic Horse

[Fiend / Effect]

Dark

1200 ATK / 1500 DEF

Level 4

You can equip this card to a Fiend-Type monster you control. It gains 500 ATK, and you can put a Soul counter on it during the End Phase of your turn. You can special summon this card from your hand by removing 3 Soul counters from the field. You can't special summon for the rest of this turn.

Demonic Minotaur

[Fiend / Effect]

Dark

1900 ATK / 1400 DEF

Level 4

When this card enters the field put 3 soul counters on target Fiend-Type monster. Once per turn, you can Discard a card to put 2 soul counters on target Fiend-Type Monster and raise it's ATK by 500.

Mindless Follower

[Fiend / Effect]

Dark

1200 ATK / 400 DEF

Level 4

You can special summon this card from your hand if you control a Fiend-Type monster with 4 or more Soul counters on it. When this card enters the field put 2 Soul counters on target Fiend-Type monster. If this card is sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material Monster for a Fiend-Type Synchro monster, the Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster gains 200 ATk x the amount of Soul counters on this card when it was used as a Synchro material.

Level 7

When this monster enters the field put 3 Soul counters on target monster. This card gains 200 ATK for each Fiend-Type monster in your graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove 3 Soul counters off this card to special summon one card from your graveyard, its effects are negated and its ATK & DEF are halved, destroy the monster during the end phase.
 
 
 

 

Spells & Traps

Spell

Place one Soul counter on each monster you control. You can banish Cards from your graveyard to put as many Soul counters on target monster as the number of Cards you banished.

Continuous Spell

Fiend-Type monsters gain 500 ATK. At the start of your main phase you can put 1 Soul counter on target monster. Once per turn, you can activate on of the following effects:
• Remove 6 counters from field: Special summon a level 4 or lower monster from your deck.
• Remove 9 counters from field : Special summon a level 6 or lower monster from your deck

Continuous Trap

You need to remove 3 Soul counters to activate and resolve this effect. Target one Fiend-Type monster in your graveyard, Special summon targeted monster, and if you do, target monster gains 500 ATK. When this card leaves the field, destroy that target. When that target is destroyed, destroy this card. When this card leaves the field put 2 Soul counters on target monster(s).

Hellfire Dragon - PHAEDRA

[Fiend / Synchro / Effect]

Dark

1500 ATK / 500 DEF

1 "Demon Lord" + 1 or more Tuner Fiend monsters
When this card enters the field put one Soul counter on each monster (Including this one). This card gain 300 ATK for each soul counter on the field. Once per turn, you can tribute one Fiend-Type monster; your opponent loses Life Points equal to soul counters on tributed monster x 200. When this card is destroyed: destroy all monster cards on the field.

Rise from the Dead...ok 5/10 seems very generic 

 

 

Hellfire Dragon this is weird it gets weird for me Fiend Mosnter usually don't trigger the grave as a zombie would so this to me is the wrong monster type if you want this to be used a lot. Overall this would prbably get up to 3500-4500 so good but the design as a boss monster is bland flavor wise. 

 

Empire of the Doomed is very  very strong but still bland flavorwise it just seems like you just thought of hell gave them a power boost and trample.

 

GRAVECRAWLER IN YUGIOH......NOPE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OP sorry bro just.....NOPE Junk would be T0 with a card like this.

 

Phantom Beast is nice though very nice you can summon Draccosack and friends with this card :D Good Job I like this card though it probably is OP.

 

Mindless generic but OK 

 

Minotaur is unplayable it is TOOOOO WEAK.

 

Horse is OK but you should be able to special summon it in some way.

 

Cthulu is GREAT I love it 7/10 OCG probelms but overall good. 

 

Demon Lord still sucks.

Dude some tips give your set two-three consistent sub themes or it would just look bland like Spellbook has Spell Searching, Spell Recovery, Monster Special Summoning and etc. Your set as far as I see has. Fiends please either go to the grave or stay and be made weaker so I feel like they have no real Synergy between each other. Check out my Golden Seas Archtype and then look at yours and tell me what you think.

Demon Sympathizer

During each of your standby phases put 1 Soul Counter on target Fiend, when ever a fiend monster is destroyed 

and it had Soul Counters you may move them to this card before it is sent to the graveyard, if this card would be destroyed

by battle you may remove half the Soul Counters on this card to destroy another Face-up card instead.

 

 

 

 

Demon's Prophet

Dark

This cards original ATK is equal to the number of Soul counters on the field x 200 , you may remove from your field any number of Soul Counters

to Special Summon from your hand or deck a Fiend type monster with the same level as the removed counters.

 

Soul Nephalem

2 Level 4 Dark Monsters

 

This card can only use a Fairy and Fiend Type monster for Material

This card loses 1000 ATK for each material attached to it.

Once per a turn, (during either player's turn) you may remove one material monster from this card increase the ATK of all other monsters

you control by 400 for each Soul Counter on the field. if this card attacks directly while it has no material monsters it deals no damage,
after it attacks directly and it deals no damage from not having material you may attach appropriate material from your graveyard to this card

( must be 2 monsters )

 

Fall from Paradise 

Spell | Ritual

 

You may play this as though it was a Quick-Play Spell card.  You can Ritual summon from you deck or hand 1 Lucifer, Fallen Archangel of Freedom

by removing all Soul Counters from monsters whose Level equals 10. While this card is in the graveyard your opponent must pay 1000 LP to activate

or set more then 2 cards per a player's turn. You may play only one Fall from Paradise per a Duel.

This card can only be summoned by the effect of Fall from Paradise. When ever your opponent take non-combat damage increase this monsters ATK by the damage dealt

This card cannot attack your opponent directly unless you tribute all other monsters your control.During each player's end phase you may destroy a card on your opponents

side of the field and activate one of thee following effects depending on what type of card it was.

 

@Spell: Your opponent may not draw cards on their next turn, if you control more then 5 Soul Counters they may take 500 LP Damage to draw a card.

@Trap: Your opponent must attack this card on their next turn with at least 2 monsters then any damage they would have taken is considered effect damage

@Monster: Your opponent takes damage equal to the level of the card destroyed x100

 

 

 

Lilith, the First Sin

When ever you opponent activates a card or card effect you may choose to activate one of the following

 

@Remove 3 Soul Counters from anywhere on the field negate the card and return it to the deck.

@Remove 6 Soul Counters from anywhere on the field negate the card and Special Summon a Level 5 monster from the graveyard

@Remove 9 Soul Counters from anywhere on the field negate the card and you may set in on your side of the field (If you don't it becomes banished)

Snake's Apple

Spell | Equip

 

You control the equipped monster, it becomes a Dark Fiend-type monster while face-up.

At the end phase of the equipped cards original controller they take 500 damage and you place 1 Soul Counter 

on Each monster they control. If the equipped monster destroys a monster with a Soul Counter it gains 300 ATK

until the end phase and can attack again. (It may not attack directly by this effect)
