goddamnit names are a pain
Who said anything about Number Wall? 49 can't be targeted, recycles itself, and can shank 3 attacks. If you can pump rank 3s. 49 will pretty much always be on the board. I meant that is one of the only ways you can't get rid of it....it really is just annoying to run over, but not impossible. Wall would seal the deal, as they say. But it is better upon me realizing I need to read cards more carefully....my eyes love to miss important things lately.... Lonk
#15 doesn't suck. At all. Its heavily underrated. Sure it can't defend itself, but my god, the damage it deals. I said maybe 6. Number 15 is actually surprisingly good, but the other Gimmicks do suck. 15 is good, but still feels underwhelming in what it does (which is why I really can't give it any points). And, with Number 6, he can either soften your opponent or have an approximated norm of 3600-4000 ATK, which is always nice.

Blowing up two monsters your opponent most likely Special Summoned with a high chance of doing 4000-5000 damage is underwhelming? Okay then. But really, you choose when to bring 15 out...first Summon something like Felgrand or 62, and force the opponent to either lose to that or get something even stronger out....which is when you swoop with this guy. Just a rather rough example. But really 15 easily promotes OTKs by clearing out bosses and burning for damage (often) and then still being able to either have him or something else attack. Number 6 relies on Numbers which isn't too hard, but its still a condition that's kind of annoying to meet. I also don't really know any decks that Rank 6 and do other ranks. Archfiends? Some weird Constellars? I may just be missing something here, so...

It's more of a situational play than just a reliable monster. At least once you get the Number in the grave, Number 6 becomes a reliable force. Also, you're missing Hazy Flames, which is a great Rank 6 Spam Deck. Plus, there are those weird Monarch Decks that can reliably Summon Rank 6s. Also, Hieratics, but you already know that. And then we have Gishkis, but no one likes to talk about them.

Lonk
But are you honestly telling me that they run copies of these Numbers or have access to other Numbers? Number 72 exists, and it's a good enough monster to be considered in the Rank 6 pool. And there is also 25 if you want to get weird with Extra Deck building. Also, most of these Decks run Level 4 monsters, which gives you access to the Rank 4 Numbers pool. So yes, it is doable enough to be considered. We're also forgetting about Swordbreaker, which is a Rank 6 Catastor.
玄魔の王
Number 72 exists, and it's a good enough monster to be considered in the Rank 6 pool. No it's not, stop being silly. This thing though... Yeah, I wish it was Rank 6, but personally I'd have preferred if they watered down the destruction range in favour of higher ATK. Still, it's nuts as-is.
