MEGAS VS Gurren Lagann!

When it comes to hotblooded, cranked past 11 giant mech shows, these guys are two sides of the same coin.

I'm honestly not sure about this one. In terms of firepower, while Gurren Lagann has its drills and sunglasses/jetpack boomerangs, MEGAS has a huge variety of radically destructive weapons from cannons to lasers to flaming swords and fists and beyond. Defense-wise, both can certainly take a beating, though I'd put Gurren Lagann ahead in that aspect due to its ability to absorb kinds of energy. Gurren Lagann has the power of reality-warping Spiral Energy, while MEGAS has access to an ever-changing dashboard of buttons that can range from "Destroy the World" to "Deus Ex Machina" to "Retcon" which seems just as effective.

Also, the picture is awesome, but not to scale. MEGAS is considerably larger than Gurren Lagann, with Gurren Lagann standing at about 15 meters, while MEGAS is over 25.

Whoa whoa whoa. If it's a Death Battle, you gotta follow protocal. Stats of bots and pilots first.

If something like this really happened I imagine it'd be more of a bout between rivals. Arguing over whose bot is better, maybe a pig mole steak eating contest later, stuff like that.

Megas hits the Anti-Spiral button.

This could legitimately happen.

It's kind of hard to see who will win. I mean, both run in series with Rule of Cool, though Megas XLR has Rule of Funny mixed in.

Right? I thought the exact same thing, though I eventually decided on Megas due to the one time there was the "Retcon" button. As in, Coop could push it and make it as if the TTGL series itself never existed, for example.
