Embodiment of Chaos

Fiend/Effect

Level 2

ATK 1000

DEF 0

Lore

You can discard this card; add 1 "Rank-Up-Magic" or "Rank-Down-Magic" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. When this card is Summoned: you can Special Summon up to 2 "Embodiment of Chaos" from your Deck or Graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

As you can see I made this for all kinds of shenanigans.

I realize now that the Tuner thing was awful, considering I overlooked about 3 key things.

Here you go.
Other than that, interesting card.
It can potentially provide Synchro options to Rank-Up Decks, though the limited space means that one must choose their options wisely.
And it oddly supports the increasingly-common Rank 2-based Rank-Up-able Numbers.

HA thanks

I lost "card" someone in translation.

The card frightens me.

Searches RUM? Check

Makes 96? Check

Tuner? Check

I would say it does too much to be legal. :/ Just the fact dropping it is an instant 96/43 is insane, but that if you draw into 2 to make C96/C43.

Nerf plz

In retrospect it may need a nerf, but I like it the way it is.

Maybe make you pay Lifepoints? But that would just lead to more shenanigans...like more than I want with Hope For Escape.

How would you nerf it?

Well, I'd probably do any combination of the following:

 • Make it not a Tuner
 • Summon extra copies only from grave
 • Make it only one effect of "Embodiment of Chaos" per turn, once that turn.

You see

the Tuner enriches the flavor, I'm keeping it just for kicks.

I'm trying to make this like Giant Germ in a way, but from the graveyard could work.

Maybe that last one is a good idea

You guys did see that if somehow 2-3 get in the grave, CoTH sends em all triggering again, right? XD

So yeah maybe I should just do that last one. Thanks.

Armz, I did completely overlook a few things about that.....yeah it's probably best for the Tuner thing to leave.

Derp.
Tbh, I feel like this isn't versatile enough. How about making it Level 1, and giving it the ability to be treated as Level 2 for Xyz or Synchro Summons? Oh, and make it also so that it can be treated as a non-Tuner for Synchro Summons. And maybe give you the option of making the Synchro monster it summons a Tuner - you can never have too much Quasar. While we're at it, restricting it to only RUM/RDM searching feels needlessly troublesome - why not let it search any Normal Spell card? For that matter why discard? Just make it Special Summon itself, so that you can skip the redundant COTH step anyway!
But yeah, that aside. Give it the "You can only activate 1 effect of this per turn and only once per turn" clause. And well, I don't even think you need to scrap the Tuner part entirely, just maybe some restriction on the kind of monsters it can tune with and/or Synchro into.
