Nathanael D. Striker
Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to target 1 Xyz monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" or "CXyz" monster with the same Attribute as the target but 1 Rank higher, by using that target as the Xyz Material (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon.) Then, if possible, attach 1 monster from either player's Graveyard to the Summoned monster as an Xyz Material. You can only activate 1 "Rank-Up-Magic Revival" per turn. Inspired by the recent card requirement I made for the Winter Open. My thought process was designed to create a RUM card that takes a different approach than other existing RUM cards. Let's see how this goes. CnC is always appreciated.
Vector Nightmare
...it feels kinda too good. The problem lies mostly in the "Tribute 1 monster you control" part, which turns your random token into 2 mat C, as long as you've summoned the base form before. Along with removing a potentially key target from the opponent's Graveyard, although that will generally not be a big issue most of the time. I feel it needs to be at least "Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard" instead. Also it would be safer to give it an additional requirement, like make the Tributed monster also need the same Attribute as the Xyz you revive, which would also encourage coherent decks rather than puke-out-random-Xyz-every-turn decks, which is always a good thing IMO. Nathanael D. Striker
I actually agree on changing Tribute 1 monster you control to Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard. I'll have to think about expanding the Attribute restriction though.
