Lore correction:

This monster can only Must be Special Summon by Fusion Summoned and cannot be Summoned by other ways. (from the Extra Deck.) When this card is Fusion Summoned: It is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects until the End Phase. This card Cannot be targeted by Spell/Trap effects. If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can destroy another face-up "Six Samurai" monster you control instead. If you do: Target and destroy 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it.

Slightly less frustrating than Shi En, because its innate S/T protection is less disruptive than getting to negate any S/T (including the ones that set up combos and don't directly affect it). Its S/T "shroud" effect also means you can't buff or protect it with your own S/Ts for whatever reason.

Its anti-destruction effect, on the other hand, is pretty much a buffed Zenmaines effect without the delay...

Alright, lore has already been corrected, so I won't go into that.

As someone who has loved Six Samurais since the beginning (I won't dispute how badly designed Shi En and Gateway are), I would say this is just too slow and outclassed by the very thing it would probably be used to make it a good bit of the time, Shi En. I'd almost rather play Shogun Shien just because I wouldn't want to waste time putting in Poly or something else when there are a lot of better cards to put in a deck.

So really, the biggest play problem is that it is a Fusion monster in a deck where the Extra Deck has too many viable options ahead of this that take less resources. Plus, the stats really don't help. It would help it if it were a bit more of a heavy hitter.

The effect itself is alright. You wouldn't need to worry about those pesky D Prisons and CEDs as much.

As for the destruction effect, that part where you destroy an opponent's card should probably be once per turn, and maybe during the End Phase.
