AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Why is it rank 12. Why are you so abhorrently unhelpful? Maybe he didn't understand that the Rank is equal to the Level of the overlayed materials and thought that they had to be multiplied by the number of monsters used. Or, well, what the OP said. As for the card, getting 4 Level 3 monsters on the field is an incredibly difficult task on its own. You could lighten up on the requirements, or you can make the effect much more powerful. It's better to make things easier to play than to make them more powerful most of the time, and this would be one of the cases. 2 Level 3s would be good enough, and if you want to, you can keep the LIGHT requirement. The current effect simply makes the opponent not want to attack it. Rank 3s already have three monsters designed for this very purpose: Wind-Up Zenmaines, #49: Fortune Tune, and Mechquipped Angineer. In order to make the card something someone will want to use, you should design the card to fill a niche that Rank 3s don't have, or expand on one that is covered by a pretty terrible card. This pretty much means you'll have to snoop around and look at other cards, then redesign the card entirely, in order to make it something useful. Also, Goddess isn't a realistic Type, and DIVINE monsters aren't allowed since the only ones are supposed to be the four Konami has already released. Loyalist
she's a god, a divine being...
But it is a rule in yugioh that an Xyz must always be the same rank as the level of the materials. Like utopia is level 4 and requires 2 level 4s. If your going for something that bends the rules then maybe you could have the thread moved to "any other cards" rather than "realistic cards" because otherwise you might receive some harsh critisism. I've seen it done to new members so this is for your own benefit. I'll make an ocg fix for you in a sec. Grammar fix, or at least an attempt at one: When this card is targeted for an attack while in face-up Attack Position you can detach 1 Xyz Material; Change this card to defence position and destroy the attacking monster. Damage calculation is applied normally.* During the End Phase if this card has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card. *Technically this doesn't work because the attacking monster is actually destroyed before its attack reaches your monster so they never even battle but this could be reworded to "When this card battles" instead of "When this card is targeted for an attack". moonboywales
do you think this would be better?
AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Psst, you changed the Type to LIGHT when that should only be the Attribute. Well, now that this is Rank 4, it must now be compared to the other Rank 4 monsters. Again, your opponent is not going to select this as an attack target unless he/she can spare a monster. Since your opponent draws a card, it becomes a lot more favorable to send a random mook to change this to Defense Position, then strike it down with something more powerful, if your opponent doesn't flat-out destroy it with a card effect. It's a lot easier to do this as her ATK is terribly low, especially for a Rank 4's standards. Another monster that basically does the same thing is #52: Diamond Crab King. It's not a Sakuretsu Armor in broad daylight, per se, but can shift from Attack to Defense Position very easily, and both of its stats are 3000 (not literally, but you play it as if they are pretty much). There are only a few monsters that can defeat 3000 ATK or DEF by battle, so it essentially dominates the battlefield unless it is struck with a removal card or gets negated by something. Alternatively, there are #101: Shark Knight and Maestroke the Symphony Djinn who can evade destruction once or twice (and #101 has the extra benefit of turning one of your opponent's Special Summoned monsters into a Xyz Material for itself, Maestroke has a slightly weaker effect but is still pretty good). Personally, I wouldn't try to make this card only work at stalling.
