Ultravires
Uh....no 101 has many reasons to be afraid of backrow, for starters. Diamond Dire hitting backrow is pretty common actually and I feel it's one of the better uses. I'd always go 101 if I have a chance to steal even against backrow, because at best they'll -1 to save the monster and I'll still have a 2100 body. I only ever use Wolf to hit backrow when I have to get over a floodgate.
goddamnit names are a pain
I'd always go 101 if I have a chance to steal even against backrow, because at best they'll -1 to save the monster and I'll still have a 2100 body. Sometimes they have to, but other times it's just pitiable. xD

If you have a boss sitting on the field like Beelze or JD, it's the smart play to pop a mat off of 101 to prevent the steal. Typically you'd use your backrow to break up the R4 play before it goes off, but in some cases that's just not possible.
