Once per turn, you may Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 "Crystal" Spell Card in your Graveyard: Return that card to the Top of your Deck and if you do: Target 1 Card your Opponent controls; Destroy that Target. If a "Crystal Beast" Monster is Detached from this card and sent to the Graveyard: You may place it in your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell Card.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Refined Crystal Beast Archetype] The Refined Crystal Beasts are evolved Crystal Beasts thanks to the help of the Hidden Crystals to become stronger monsters with new more refined gems. All Refined Crystal Beasts are: - Extra Deck Monsters (Synchro/Xyz) - All will place Crystal Beast Materials into the Backrow as Crystals after being used. - All are Mythical Creatures. I am working on a Backstory for the Refined Crystal Beasts and Hidden Crystal Beasts which I will eventually finish and will post up somewhere... [/spoiler] This card basically has 2 main purposes, first Protecting CB Spells from Destruction and then also causing some destruction while also pulling a CB Spell back but to get that Spell card, your basically forfeiting your Draw next turn and can't use it until next turn anyway. Progenitor Posted May 2, 2014 Report Share Posted May 2, 2014 I have always loved Crystal beasts, and honestly if I would have tried to make an Xyz monster for them, this is probably what would have happened. Great support, is able to recycle, and allows you to get more effects out of Ancient City simply by using its effect. IIRC, for each effect sentence, there's only a need for one colon (for activation timings) and one semicolon (for costs) if any. 2 Level 4 "Crystal Beast" Monsters While this card has Xyz Materials, "Crystal Beast" Spell Cards cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn: You may can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Crystal" Spell Card in your Graveyard and 1 card your opponent controls; place return the card target in your Graveyard on to the top of your Deck, and if you do, Target 1 Card your Opponent controls; destroy the target your opponent controls. If a "Crystal Beast" Monster is detached from this card and sent to the Graveyard: You may can place it face-up in your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell Card. Excellent support, anyway. Brings offensive presence and protection to the board, splices retrieval with removal, and furthers the general theme of the Deck. Would run in triplicate.
