The Sleeping Lion
Hey everyone! This is my first post ever, so I decided to include a card based off of my profile :). Anyway, I decided to take the characters we all know and love and create yugioh cards outta them! These cards don't have ridiculous attack or defensive points, however I decided to make them have RIDICULOUS effects. This made them extremely OVERPOWERED, but I found it fitting since, these characters in actuality are OP and just plain awesome possum :D I was trying a new concept where I would take pop culture characters, merge them with the formatting of yugioh, yet still maintain their special traits and abilities in the form of effects! If y'all like this, let me know and I will happily make some more! :)
Trebuchet MS
You might want to start creating balanced cards if you want to be taken seriously.
The Sleeping Lion
Did you read the description silly?? :P these cards are meant to be like that, because the character's themselves have abilities relevant to those effects. Besides this is the pop culture section lol
Trebuchet MS
Yes, I understand they're intentionally overpowered. But doing these on purpose is an easy way to ensure your cards don't receive the (type of) attention you'd like.
The Sleeping Lion
Hmmm ok I see your point, but maybe they shall cater to another type of audience? Those who like outrageous and a bit of formal?? One can only hope lol
Trebuchet MS
Meanwhile, now that I have time and patience to go through the cards, let me correct your card grammar such that it's in line with what we have. Because these cards are intentionally overpowered, I shall refrain from commenting on their balance issues. Won't stop me from commenting on any flavour-to-effect discrepancies though, or any effects that were troublesome to translate.
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersUpon When this card is Summoned: ing, Until your opponent's 3rd End Phase after this effect's activation, your opponent cannot is unable to declare an attack, for 3 turns. Any also all monsters present on your opponent currently controls cannot change their side of the field are unable to switch battle positions for the remainder of that duration. The effect of This card is impervious to negation, whether it be spell, trap or effect and its activation cannot be negated. Once If this card would be destroyed, banish it instead remove this card from play.
I presume that's Pikachu throwing a massive Thunder Wave/Thunderbolt to paralyze the opponent and all monsters they currently control.
This card You can be Special Summoned only once this card (from your Deck or hand) if there are at least by having 7 or more monsters cards in your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned this way, you cannot Special Summon "The Legend of Spartan 117" for the rest of the Duel. This card is not effected unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap effects cards and cannot be destroyed as a result of by battle. Any Negate all monster effects that target directed at this card from an opponent's monster is negated. Damage calculation is not applied to this card. After At the End Phase of the 3rd turns after this card was Summoned: Shuffle return this card back to it's respective into the Deck and shuffle. Any further summoning of this card shall require tribues only. This card may cannot be used as a Tributed or discarded by it's owner.
I understand that video game player characters are wicked awesome one-man armies, but they die sometimes, don't they? Since all versions have essentially the same effects, replace their names where applicable on the card text.
This card You can be Special Summoned this card (from your Deck or hand) if your have less than 1000 Life Points (ignoring anything preventing this Summon) fall under 1000 points, even if any restrictions may be present during this time. Upon being When this card is Special Summoned: Destroy all cards of your opponent controls spell, trap and monster cards on the field, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card's ATK followed by a direct attack. At the end of your Battle Phase: Shuffle return this card into your Deck and you gain 2000 Life Points. Shuffle your deck.
Forcing a direct attack outside of the Battle Phase is unheard of and creates a small paragraph of troublesome rulings concerning how it can be responded to. I've changed it to simply inflicting effect damage.
Upon When this card is Summoned: ing, choose a card in Look at your opponent's hand and destroy 1 card in their hand it. In addition, This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; negate the attack, and if you do, destroy that target. twice per turn, capable of targeting monsters, spells, traps, or a combination of both. If this card is would be destroyed by battle, you take no battle damage from that battle. is taken At the 2nd End Phase after this card was destroyed by battle: You and can be return this card -added from your Graveyard to your hand from the graveyard, after 2 turns. This card cannot be banished. The This card's effects cannot be negated of this card is impervious to negation by any means, and is unable to be removed from play.
Monsters attacking Spells and Traps are also unheard of unless those S/Ts are being treated as monsters (e.g. Metal Reflect Slime). They have no stats or battle position so calculation of battle damage from said attacks would require either a lot of reminder text or a short paragraph of rulings. I've tweaked the effect to a simple destruction of an S/T if you choose to voluntarily negate its attack. I'm utterly confused over why you'd create cards which do the exact same thing, have the exact same stats, and differ only by name and artwork. That's lazy. Even Weiss Schwarz, a card game that is prone to having different cards depicting essentially the same character in different contexts, tries to differ cards that would otherwise be clones. The Sleeping Lion
Hey thanks for your feedback! :) oh and about creating clones of the same card with different names and artwork, those are simply alternative art versions of the same card. I forgot to mention that. Im pretty sure yugioh has alternative art versions of certain cards right? So I included 3 for certain cards.Oooh and Master Chief never dies, just throwing that out there. :D (which is cannon in the halo universe)

Putting them under different names are not.
