When this Card is Normal Summoned: You can add a "Crystal" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand; and if you do: you cannot activate Spell Cards for the rest of this turn. If this card Special Summoned from your Spell/Trap Zone: target 1 Monster on the Field: That target loses 700 ATK & DEF. When this Monster is destroyed: you can target 1 "Crystal Beast" Monster in your Graveyard: Place that target face-up in your Spell/Trap Zone as a Continuous Spell Card.

Hidden Crystal Beasts are made to be mostly Crystal Beast support (like Legendary Six Samuari's). They will be setup to make either effective Crystal Beasts that don't actually drop to the backrow themselves. Each Hidden Crystal Beast will have this effect:
- A Support effect that will help Crystal Beasts or go into Extra Deck Monsters faster.
- When they go to the graveyard, you can place a Crystal in the Backrow from the Grave.

They will be involved in the Crystal Beast Evolution into the Refined Crystal Beasts
The main idea of this card:
1. To make a Crystal Beast that is effective to draw 1st turn.
2. To give Crystal Beasts better access to their Spells.
3. The ability to weaken strong monsters so a Crystal can take it out which is a general problem with the Crystals, as they can't deal with big bosses beyond 2800 very well without going at least a -1 to deal with it.

So any thoughts? Like? Dislike? Think its OP? Let me know!

Colon Cancer And Excessive Capitalization: The Lore.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Search Deck for add 1 "Crystal" Spell Card from your Deck and add it to your hand, and if you do, you cannot activate Spell Cards for the rest of this turn. If you this card is Special Summoned this card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone: Target 1 card on the field; in play destroy that target. When this card in your Monster Zone is destroyed: You can target 1 "Crystal Beast" Monster in your Graveyard; place that target face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card.

Still, it's a solid card regardless of when it's played and its 1900 ATK offers a very nice offensive presence that the Crystal Beasts need so dearly. Destruction effect doesn't activate very often due to the mild difficulty in crystallizing it, but it helps break even with Promise and mops up a few things alongside a Carbuncle swarm.

Thanks! Most of those were actually the main goals of this card! Do you think the Search restriction works good enough to not be just dumb?

Seeing that most of the "Crystal" Spells are Normal Spells, the inability to immediately use what you tutored is sufficient. In cases of Abundance being tutored, the opponent can prepare for it and ready a counter.

The card does what Konami seems to do lately for old archetypes, and that is throw a bunch of good things onto a single card.

It'd be good as just a search upon NS and backrow something upon destruction, but you threw in great beater stats and another effect, a pop of all things, as well.

The stats could be changed, since it's kind of lame to make a +1 effect, great by all means, even greater when you put your monster in a favorable position. (Think the Constellar search monster, 1900 DEF but likes being NSed). The pop is a good effect, but could probably be replaced on this card and placed onto a future Hidden CB. For this card, if you feel the need to have an effect upon backrow SS, would be something that doesn't affect advantage since this guy already provides it.

Another thing I think you missed,Therion, is that you can't use the Spell or any Spells this turn.

Also updated with a new effect! And a bit of wording changes. I don't like the "While in Monster Card Zone" thing as it's not a Monster in the Spell/Trap Zone, It's a Spell. So I see it as fine if they just put it as "If this face-up Monster is destroyed..." As it won't trigger if destroyed as a Spell anyway, and as such shouldn't be a problem. But that's mostly my qwams with Konami's occasional weird wordings....
