Toffee.
Once per turn, this Face-up Attack Position card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can Discard 1 Insect-Type monster: add from your Deck to your hand 1 WIND or EARTH Insect-Type monster. During your End Phase, if this card did not destroy an opponent's monster by battle, destroy this card. If this card is destroyed(either by battle or card effect), you can Discard 1 Insect-Type monster: Special Summon 1 EARTH or WIND Insect-Type monster from your Deck. You must have at least 3 Insect-Type monsters in your Graveyard to activate and resolve this effect. This effect of "Frantic Flymantis" can only be activated once per turn.Basically the idea of this card stems from that Frankenbug I made a while ago, in the sense that supporting EARTH/WIND Insects can lead to some amusing potential, without it being too over-the-top. -Dom-
Yeah I can kind of see this in some combos, but I'm probably missing the obvious ones, do you mind saying any you had in mind for the card? As for the card itself, its already a nice 1900 that can survive an attack, and I like the link in the effects of when it does attack/doesn't and when it doesn't. However, I feel like the last effect is surely the one you go for unless you open this card (so no insects in grave) as a ss is more likely to be beneficial than an add (suppose it depends) and the requirement, apart from insects in grave, is less than its searching effect. Overall, I like it, and I think you should either make an archetype or just keep making insect singles, as I think they need a comeback (inzektors don't count...) Hell, the card itself even fuels it's own effect of that. Plus, it can even search other copies of itself, on the off-chance you need more stuff. Plus, because it lacks a Level cap, it gives you a very large range of what it can search/summon, provided, they are WIND/EARTH. Then again, WIND/EARTH Insects aren't that amazing, hence why this card supports them in such a manner,
