Dark Worlds is what shuts down Dark Worlds.

Keeping in mind that the OCG list is completely different from the TCG, not to mention the different meta views even when the lists matched, this card is being released in the OCG first. The OCG did not ban Stratos, or limit Macro and D-Fissure. This card is very good, but I doubt the OCG will consider it remotely problematic.

 

For starters, it's a Masked HERO, requiring the use of Mask Change on a DARK HERO monster to even Summon. This isn't that hard, but Shadow and Malicious are really the only likely targets being played for that requirement, plus the dedication needed to make Mask Change useful in the slightest. Other Mask support cards, like Second will be more of an issue, as Mask Change Second lets almost any DARK monster become this.

 

But I don't see this card being hit. Limiting it to 1 won't actually do anything. They're more likely to hit the consistency engine, and considering Shadow Mist is being released in the same Starter Deck, they want this consistency engine to stick around. I'd expect the OCG to attack Stratos next, and not worry about this.

 

But that's assuming HEROs make a major comeback in the OCG.

Wins the Shaddoll mirror and a lot of matchups for the deck, honestly, but still only a 1-of. Majesty's Fiend does a lot in the deck, too.

Forgetting the search effect cost me a game. Never again.

Really just makes me wonder about Koga because of MC2
