Aix
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can declare a Level from 1 to 10; this card becomes that Level. When this card destroys a monster by battle: Add 1 "Gishki" card from your Deck to your hand and increase this card's ATK by 500.
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can declare a Level from 1 to 10; this card becomes that Level. If this card attacks, it is unaffected by card effects until the end of the Damage Step. When this card destroys a monster by battle: Add 1 "Gishki" card from your Deck to your hand. Armoire
I like its effect, but I feel as though it should be a Gishki-specific card. It could be splashed into any Xyz deck, so maybe giving it a clause like: "This card cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon." And since it can be rid of quite easily, it wouldn't be too much to put something like "If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step." or "If this card attacks, it is unaffected by other card effects until the end of the Damage Step." because its specific effect in order to search could be a hard task to fulfill. Froggageddon
Not sure why Gishki's would need a tuner, unless you made a Gishki Synchro? Beatstick is good, Gishkis lack good Normal Summoned beatsticks. You should have the card say: "If this card is Summoned while you control another "Gishki" monster, you can choose 1 "Gishki" monster in your Deck and place it on top of your Deck. The other Synchro Material Monster(s) are "Gishki" monsters on your side of the field." And I would like the secondary effect to say something more fitting to the Gishki archetype: "If a "Gishki" card is added from your Graveyard to your hand you can increase this card's Level by up to 6 and ATK by 600, until the End Phase." Aix
Whoa, new faces around here who have more to say than just "good card". It's been a while since I've stepped into this place. Whoo. Part of it is the fact that it can be used to Xyz, so you don't necessarily need two Zielgigas in order to pull out your fancy dancy Gustav Max or Skypalace. The fact that it can be splashed into other Decks is perfectly fine. One of Yugioh's problems is that everything is archetype-based which chokes creativity quite a bit. Konami basically tells you what Decks to make. Hm, I'll consider that last part. It seems reasonable enough, but I'm afraid of putting too much into one card. Tuner simply gives you extra access to various stuff so that Gishki's don't stick to their one trick pony. What you are suggesting basically changes this entire card, lol, not only in balance but also in design.

I would like for him to be level 2 though, that new Herald of Rainbow Light will come in handy for gishkis!

And about the purpose of the card, I get it now-- I just kind of assumed you wanted it to be more Gishki-specific (if that makes sense). In that case, it's wonderful. And like Frog said, Herald of Rainbow Light would be nifty for Gishkis, making this card's level-manipulation abilities superb. Oh, and if you want to put in the last part and want to subtract anything that you have, I'd suggest replacing the 500 ATK gain.

You can't make Rainbow Light with Gishki Beast anyway.

Daigusto Sphreez
Gishki's aren't strictly 1 trick ponies I wouldn't say, because their easy rank 4 plays and bahamut extensions can be just as threatening as the rituals themselves. Really cool card though, level changing allows for, dare I say it, multiple levels of gishki rituals to be used in a deck (although 1 level is still going to be more efficient), I like its immunity when attacking so it can search easily while being a beatstick, so kudos for usability. I feel as if a card with 1500+ attack needs a good effect like this because of the strength of salvage and running all 1500 or less as a result. Having said that I don't think I'd run more than 1, maybe 2 at a push. I think the card type makes a huge difference too. If it was Fish, you could use fish depth charge with it (along with abyss and fincess), if it was Spellcaster you could run wonder wand with it (along with ariel or avance). I don't see aqua supporting these engines and of course it doesn't have to, but it'd be a nice bonus for me as a person who uses both fish depth and wonder wand in my builds anyway. :D
