Lore: When 1 face-up attack position monster you control is destroyed by battle, swap the ATK of the the monster you control and the monster who attacks. When this effect is activated, you can destroy the monster you control affected by this effect to destroy 1 card on the field. If this card effect was activated, set this card face-down on your opponent's side of the field and take 1000 damage. When this card is set face-down at your opponent's field by this card effect, destroy it instead of setting it again.

Let's polish this up a bit.

When 1 face-up Attack Position monster you control is destroyed by battle: Target 1 swap the ATK of the the monster you control and the opponent's attacking monster; the ATK of each targets becomes that of the other, then who attacks. When this effect is activated, you can destroy the first target, and if you do, monster you control affected by this effect to destroy 1 card on the field, then if you are this card's owner, If this card effect was activated, Set this card face-down on your opponent's side of the field instead of sending it to the Graveyard and you take 1000 damage. When this card is set face-down at your opponent's field by this card effect, destroy it instead of setting it again.

This is how I've interpreted the effect. For those allergic to run-on sentences, here's how the card works with this wording.

  1. Targets declared, wait for response.
  2. Card resolves, ATK swaps. You are then prompted on whether you want to destroy your monster. If you don't, finish resolving this card and send it to the Graveyard.
  3. If you do, destroy 1 card on the field. This doesn't target.
  4. Then, if this card is originally yours, it gets Set on your opponent's field and you take 1000 damage. If it isn't, it's sent to the Graveyard.
