heraldry_lord
Super Polymerization Quick-Play Spell Card Discard 1 card; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from either side of the field as Fusion Materials. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation. Super Poly has always been a great card in and of itself IMO for not only being a Quick-Play Spell that can spirit away your opponent's monsters as Fusion fodder, but also it essentially is untouchable by any negation that tries to stop it, with The Fabled Unicore being the only exception to my knowledge. The problem was initially that it was situational and it had a real discard cost. Then the Omni HERO Fusions (Absolute Zero, The Shining, etc.) were printed, allowing HEROs to use this card, but the discard cost made it dicey to use, that is until Shadow Mist became a thing. Now Shaddolls are hitting the scene, and as they gain more of their Attribute Fusions, this card gains more favour with them, especially since discarding the Shaddolls themselves can help to compensate for the minus. Furthermore, any deck with Elder God Noden can tech this card as a countermeasure against Synchro or Xyz spam, and gain another body from the Graveyard as a bonus. evilfusion
Yeah, Super Poly's just been getting stronger and stronger. Konami realized that Fusions with specific Materials were often too situational to ever consider, and have been gradually printing more semi-generic Fusions, such as Dragonecro (any 2 Zombies), the Omni-HEROs, and...Shaddolls. The more awesome Fusions they make like this, the more powerful Super Poly will become. Which is a shame, because it may cause Super Poly to get hit in the future. I always adored this card, though. werewolfjedi
I have a feeling this card might get semi' when shadolls get a full atibute set, if not soon after TCG get their hands on the archthype, since we already start with a light and dark one to fusion into, not to mention noden. Greiga
I loved running this in Cyber Dragons. Overdragon loves this. You must have a boring locals if that many people play Machines. Usually I say "hit the thing that makes it good" but like fusion said, that's way too many things.

It's fun running the Chimeratechs at 3 simply for a pseudo-dark hole.
evilfusion
I loved running this in Cyber Dragons. Overdragon loves this. Not really, though. Unless you're doing a DNA Surgery thing (EDIT: Which you are), you're either facing a lot of Machine/Cyber players, in which case Fortress Dragon is usually a far superior card, or you're using this for a swarm beatdown combo where you attack with all your monsters, then Super Poly for the finishing blow. The newer Cyber support prefers you Super Polying into a Cyber Twin/End, rather than Overdragon, due to now having a lot of monsters that count as Cyber Dragon with several methods of Summoning multiples in a turn. I'll look into it, thank you^^ I'm mainly using Overdragon so I can abuse Overload Fusion to get another one out. Older Cyber deck. Wouldn't stand a chance in the current meta. newhat
Super Polymerization is still narrow and unreliable in spite of all that's come out.
Lonk
When Noden is released worldwide, this card will become much more mainstream.

Agro
It was always fun being able to make use of this, even back in the day.I actually ran a HERO deck like 4 or 5 years ago when DREV came out that ran Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste because I always played a friend of mine who would always go into Dragon Synchros. Now that was a lot of fun. "Oh, what a nice Stardust! Shame if something were to happen to it."
