JustAnotherDuelist
Yeah. On mobile so I'll just give linkshttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Breakthrough_Skillhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Skill_Prisonerhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Skill_Drainhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fiendish_Chain Which is better? %phil
skill drain is not comparable to any of the other cards the other 3 depend on the format, breakthrough is better where there are things you want to use its second effect on eg laggia, ladd, moralltach and fiendish is better the rest of the time, skill prisoner is nowhere near as good
Greiga
Don't they have different uses outside of "negate effect"?
Sunn O)))
Skill Drain. 1000 Lifepoints to negate all your opponent's monsters and even knock out negative effects on yours, such as with Beast King Barbaros? Sure. Add in Royal Decree and Imperial Custom to put some real pressure on the other guy. Plus, Skill Drain just looks cool...at least, I think it does ^_^; Wait, so you're telling use to use Royal Decree, Skill Drain, and Imperial Custom at the same time? Dude, that's like so totally genius.

Zauls
The only ones that are actually comparable are Fiendish and Breakthrough, so right now Breakthrough is better because it can't be destroyed by Ignition/Moralltach etc. and Breakthrough doesn't clog backrow when played in Artifacts. Strange how the existence of one deck makes all the difference.
jabber2033
Would 2 BTS and 2 Chain be alright to run? Or is it better to go just with BTS? Should decks that have the space run some of both? BTS is better right now, certainly, but Chain has its uses in that it negates attacks as well.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
why would anyone want to use Skill Drain

At big events these days, Fiendish should never be run, but at locals it depends what everyone plays. If you have space for both, normally there will be something better than Chain at big events like Black Horn or D-Prison. why would anyone want to use Skill Drain If your deck isn't affected by it, like if you're playing Dark Worlds, then Skill Drain is great. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or what.

Slinky
Don't they have different uses outside of "negate effect"? Yes. Fiendish stays on the field and is reusable with stuff like Zephyros or Pleiades, as well as stopping attacks, but it comes at the cost of being fragile. BTS allows an additional negation and can be used from the graveyard. Its a Trap Veiler as it has the same properties, it just has more activation opportunities and lasts longer than Veiler. Skill Prisoner is the same, and its similar to BTS, its just a lot cheaper because it isnt as versatile. Skill Drain just negates everything, but only affects monsters on the field. %phil
they all break the game nuff sed yeah bro skill prisoner is a really imbalanced card definitely needs list attention asap
Zauls
they all break the game nuff sed Are you serious? The only one that possibly deserves list attention and could be considered broken/unfair in the slightest is Skill Drain because its one of those blanket negation cards that are so infamous. Even so, it nowhere near "breaks the game" and the rest of them are completely fair cards. Skill Prisoner isn't even that great...
