Lunar Origins
Must first be Ritual Summoned with "Abyss Ritual" and cannot be Summoned other ways. This card cannot declare an attack. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, during your Battle Phase: Target 1 Monster on the field; Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference in the ATK of that card and the ATK of this card, then send that card to the Graveyard. Then, this card gains ATK equal to the amount of damage inflicted. When this card is targeted: Halve its ATK, then, if possible, select another appropriate target on the field, and that card is targeted instead. Ritual Summon 1 Level 10 Ritual Monster from your hand by banishing Monsters from your hand, Field, or Graveyard whose total Levels equal 10 or more. When a Level 10 or higher Ritual Monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Shuffle, into your Deck, Monsters from your banished zone whose Levels equal 10 or more, then Ritual Summon that Ritual Monster (from the Graveyard). Trebuchet MS
Man, I keep seeing that fist these last few days. World Eater pretty much turns the concept of attacks on its head. The fact that it says "difference" means it can take on something stronger than it and still come out victorious. Positions don't matter, either - it can still inflict massive damage through monsters in Defense Position, barring anything with hexproofing. Does World Eater's target-changing effect also work on targets for attacks? Abyss Ritual is interesting - rather than being customized for its target Ritual Monster, it's a non-name-specific Ritual Spell. The only other LV10 Ritual Monster you can bring out so far is Zielgigas, but the inherent design of this card lets the Ritual have a second chance on the field, since whatever you've banished for its first activation is available to be recycled. Never mind that World Eater was already very difficult to take down. ...Wait, is World Eater DARK? Oh, it's not DARK. That's a relief. Would be worrisome if it interacted with Ritual Raven -- oh wait Gishki Shadow and Vision still work never mind. The only consolation of envisioning this in a Gishki Deck is that running World Eater would pretty much necessitate running Manju and pals - something that Gishkis aren't too keen on doing. Blacklion65
You could change it to earth or wind or fire, maybe light I guess I think those don't have any/much ritual support
