BurningDemon
Banish 1 card from your Deck, then Set this card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. When this Set card is destroyed: Target up to 2 cards banished with this card's effect; add them to your hand.
Trebuchet MS
When this card is activated Banish 1 card from your Deck, then Set this card again instead of sending it to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect once per turn. When this Set card is destroyed while it is Set on the field: add Target up to 2 cards banished with this card's effect; add them to your hand. A cross between Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and Different Dimension Capsule. Because Trap Cards can't be activated the turn they're Set, barring a few banned cards, you don't need the once-per-turn restriction. Naturally, when going against this card, the smart play would be to destroy this card the moment you see it turned face-up. Because it isn't Set on the field any longer, your opponent loses a card from their Deck and gets nothing. But a smart opponent would realize that and not activate this card any further past the first activation, after which you won't destroy this card barring a boardwipe and effectively lock out the one card they've chosen. It's like some Mexican standoff of wits and memory.

razzy
It is a cool idea. I think it is a little too powerful though. On one hand your opponent can just mst when you go to activate at one point. On the other you can mst it yourself while set and get any card from your deck.
