Endless Conscience: Limit Area B upgraded

This will be the first card that I'll post on this forums, for me being a new member of course. Endless Conscience is actually my 48th created card on my USB. My little sister found the picture and she asked me to use it; she wasn't disappointed...

(updated version)
Activate only when your opponent declares an attack. Switch all monsters to defense position. If a monster was summoned after this card's activation, switch it to defense position. All monsters that were switched by this effect cannot be switched back to attack mode while this card is on the field. Each player can only special summon one monster per turn.
basically it's like "Limit Area B", but with a twist. I guess this card could support defensive decks and in the future, I bet it would support the Superheavy Samurai Deck. Anyways, This card is meant for the defensive. The twist is, It also affects all monsters, no matter what level, and Xyz monsters. I'm guessing that this is going to be way more annoying than your standard "Limit Area B" cards that you see today.

This isn't Limit Area B with a twist, it's Limit Area B with more lockdown effects.

I'm sure you didn't intend on this, but the card really does too much. You change ALL monsters on the field to Defense position, so there is no way your opponent is going to be attacking. And then they can't change their battle positions either? That's just a redundant way of making a Limit Area B that simply acts on all monsters instead of just level 4 or higher ones.

And its a continuous trap. Keeping your opponent from attacking you is, in short, this card's purpose; however, that said, you can't just condone making a super-powerful Limit Area B under the guise of a trap that "requires specific conditions to activate" (not a direct quote, but this is quite frankly the only statement you can use to justify this card). Also, that "condition" is an attack. Because those totally don't happen.

Then, the Midrash-esque effect, as icing on the cake? By what standards is this card balanced?

Sorry for being acerbic, but I had to get the point across: more powerful versions of already annoying cards, especially when they are as accessible as this one, don't fare well in my opinion.

huh...... I never really saw it that way..... and I can see your points clear as day. And it's ok, I usually get specific detailed opinions from my friends. Is there anyways I could change it to where it's fair and balanced, but could bring some potential to the owner that uses this card?

For starters, make it a Continuous Trap with something like this:

"Change all Level/Rank 4 or higher monsters to Defense Position."

This makes it more like a LLAB that's buffed to affect Xyz Monsters too.

Thanks Gadjiltron, Ill get right to fixin' this card.
