Pay 1000 Life Points; Return all face-up Xyz, Synchro and Fusion Monsters on the field to the Extra Deck. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn this card is activated. During either player's turn, when a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster would be Summoned: You can banish this card from your Graveyard and 1 card from your hand; Negate the Summon of that monster, and if you do, destroy it. You can only activate this effect of "Last HOPE" once per Duel.

 

This card is similar to the 1 I've made few months ago, so I updated effects and found new Artwork.

Uh OP as balls? Let's fix this: 

 

When your opponent controls more monsters than you do: Pay 1000 Life Points; Return all face-up Xyz, Synchro and Fusion Monsters on the field to the Extra Deck (even if face-down). You cannot conduct your Battle Phase or Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn this card is activated. If this card was activated and it is in the Graveyard, when an Xyz, Fusion or Synchro monster is Special Summoned: You can Banish this card from your Graveyard; Negate that monster's effects until the End Phase.

Uh OP as balls? Let's fix this:

I like your suggestions but I don't think that this card is OP as balls. Why do you think it is so OP?

It's so OP because you're basically compulsing everything on the Field - as you know, these monsters require resources to get out - YOU CANNOT just remove your opponent's resources for 1000 Life Points.

 

Delinquent Duo, friend.

 

You would have to be at a disadvantage (Exciton) - and then there's recycling. You wanna Negate a Summon? for FREE?

 

That cannot be, not from the Graveyard, otherwise Lightsworn will break the game.

 

I'm sorry for not giving my rationale, I just don't ever think I need to :P I think I should from now on.

If I made it that it can only activate while you have monster SS from Extra Deck, would that be better?

About this card 2nd effect: It is OP, but I just don't know how to make it more balanced. Do you have any suggestions?

A free negation of an Extra Deck Summon from the Graveyard is, indeed, very strong and difficult to work around. Aside from tacking on a "once per Duel" restriction, perhaps tighten its activation condition (e.g. while you do not control a Special Summoned monster) or add a steep cost to it (e.g. banishing a card from your hand).

 

In the meantime, lore fix:

Pay 1000 Life Points; Return all face-up Xyz,Synchro & Fusion Monsters on the field to the Extra Deck. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck during the turn this card is activated. During either player's turn, when a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster would be Summoned: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate the Summoning of Xyz, Synchro or Fusion Monster , and if you do, destroy it that monster.

Note that due to the way the Summon negation works, the only Fusions it can stop are non-Polymerization Fusions like Neos Contact Fusions or XYZ combinations.
