Each time your opponent inflict damage to your Life Points (either by battle or card effect) activate 1 of these effects:
* Discard 1 card: inflict the same amount of damage to your opponent Life Points
*Target 1 monster on the field: it gains ATK equal to the damage you took until the End Phase
*Return 1 card you control to the hand: destroy 1 card on the field.
During each of your End Phases you can pay 500 Life Points, if you don't pay, destroy this card. You can only control 1 face-up "Midnight Recovery".

Truthfully, I like the idea behind this card. I don't really feel like doing an in-depth review, but it is a solid idea. The picture(and to an extent the name) don't really match the flavor you are trying to establish with the effect or intended use though. Honestly can't think of a deck that this card would be a key component in, but might be an interesting side tech just in case you run into a burn deck or something along those lines. Obviously wouldn't be run competitively, but there is nothing wrong with creating a little casual fun.

Third effect is the one that matters.  Once per turn, when you take Battle Damage, you can blow up a card for free by bouncing this Spell Card to your hand. You don't have to wait for your opponent to attack; you can set some Trap Cards, then ram some Yang Zing monsters into a bigger monster, triggering this each time by bouncing a Set Trap. It turns everything into Ice Hand and Fire Hand with infinite ammo.

Should I change the third effect to return only monsters to hand.

It would definitely help balance it out. I didn't quite catch the problem that the effect represented when I first looked at the card, but even that might be a little too good. After all, returning a card you control to your hand(i.e. Call of the Haunted, Hysteric Party(in a Harpie deck), etc.) could be very useful and then you get to punish your opponent by returning a card they control to their hand. Perhaps make the cost placing 1 card in your hand on the top of your deck or something.
