EntropicMage
As it is harder to make my own pictures for monsters then spells and traps this weird guy is my first posted monster. Lore: This may attack your opponents Life Points directly. If you have any monsters other than "Nightmare Phantasm" on your side of the field this cannot be targeted by an attack, or the effects of Monster or Spell cards. When this is attacked you can make it a direct attack instead. The theme is that of a terrifying monster that you cannot escape from. In some ways it behaves as an empty monster slot that can attack life points directly. The fact that it is level 5, has low base ATK, and can be taken out by traps or effects of other cards while there is no other monster on the field leads me to believe that there are sufficient counter measures. Too weak or strong? Potential for game breaking abuse?
Dramatic Crossroad
I think it's too weak as it is right now. The fact that you have to tribute a monster for it, or waste a Special Summon (Mystic Tomato for example) just to pack a 900 punch... The effect is somewhat underpowered. I have a card made with the same basic concept, although i cannot reveal it now, cause it's not finished yet, but still - i can give you a suggestion that might make "Nightmare Phantasm" more attractive to be played with (aside boosting it's original ATK to at least 1200): This card can attack your opponent directly. While you control another monster (except "Nightmare Phantasm"); This card cannot be targeted by attacks or your opponent's card effects. When this card is selected as an attack target; you can make that attack a direct attack to your Life Points instead. P.S. - if you want to go with creepy, try looking up Giygas in google images,

EntropicMage
I am familiar with Giygas from Earthbound. (One of my favorite games). Just still feeling around to figure out what sort of images I can take straight off the internet. Making the card immune to all card effects while there is another monster on the board seemed a bit much. But if it's underpowered as is. Thanks for the OCG rewording. But if it's underpowered as is.Thanks for the OCG rewording. -First, very interesting artwork. Always nice to see people do their own. -Second, that's still pretty weak as far as Level 5's go imo. As a level 5/6 monster that can't special summon itself, you CAN push to a 2000 atk(max) Direct Attacker, but because of it's secondary effects, I'd probably go to 1500 or maybe even 1700. You can also nerf it back to monsters and/or spells for more. -Also just replace the card on the first post and say you edited it, you don't have to put the card in your latest post. thanonyx
Lower this card's level and work on it's OCG so that it meets the current format and you're good. I dig the artwork BTW, very trippy.
