Ren✧
1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monster(s) This card can also be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by detaching all the Xyz Materials from a face-up WATER monster you control(min. 1). If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target face-up monsters your opponent controls up to the number of face-up WATER monsters you control, then, switch them to face-down Defense Position. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 WATER monster you control; destroy 1 Set card your opponent controls. If you do, this card cannot attack directly this turn. ~~~ Been out of the card making game for awhile, so I doubt this is any good. It is is just a remaster of a contest card from a little while back. Anyway, I bet there are a ton of things wrong with it, as I am completely out of touch with today's meta-game, so have at it. Sawt0othGrin
A hair on the OP side. I think on summon it should be able to flip one monster face down then it can tribute itself to destroy one set card on the field. This is due to Killer Frost's ease of summon, in it's current state she would be to good of a stun engine *cough*mermail*cough*

What if it can tribute any face-up WATER monster. Would that do the trick? Or perhaps change it so that it can't destroy any set cards the turn it is summoned? Sawt0othGrin
Both of those are better than the way it is currently set up.
asterr259
Not sure what the previous version was, but this is definately solid. I never ran Mermails or fought a mermail deck, but this puts me back in the mind of Deepsea Coala when he was a thing.
