2 Level 7 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Star Vader" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can only Special Summon "Star-Vader, Nebula Lord Dragon" once per turn this way. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; banish that target, and if you do, it cannot be moved to a different place. These effects last until the end of your opponent's turn. Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

I suggested in your status that you could go for the "cannot be used" effect of Prohition to simulate the Lock effect, but after reading the description of Vanguard's Lock effect, I think the best way to translate it to Yugioh would be by banishing the card until the End Phase, not too different to Destiny Hero Doom Lord, Junk Archer, etc. considering that, if I understood correctly, "The locked card not considered a unit, and both it as its circle are considered to not exist while it is locked" means the card technically leaves the field. Now, since a banished card can still be used by other cards, you will have to include clauses like "that card cannot be moved to a different place" (taking Necrovalley as example).

Considering the above, I think the fix for the Lock effect would look like:

You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; banish that target, and if you do, it cannot be moved to a different place. These effects last until the end of your opponent's turn. Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

That aside, I cannot comment on the card's balance because you didn't post nor linked to other "Star Vader" Xyz Monsters, which I don't know how would affect this card playability (for instance, this card is a easy to Summon as them). All I can say is that the ATK is below average for a 2-material Rank 10 (so far, the lowest ATK is 3000, and the highest 3400), and the effect looks fair for a Rank 10 since, without an OPT clause, it removes up to 2 cards but only temporarily; good for making a push, but if the opponent survives the turn, he/she may recover quickly.

It was supposed to be Rank 7, but I changed to Rank 10, but I forgot to change the Rank and stats. Anyway, banishing was what I previously used. Decided to change it because it didn't do well, but since I like what you did, I'll change it to that. Thanks.

Actually, I went to sleep thingkng about this effect, and realized that I missed a couple of things, like banishing the card face-down so it won't trigger any effect (e.g Rulers banish effect), and properly returning the opponent's card to the field (yes, it states the banish effect lasts until the end of the opponent's turn but I feel it can be misleading or confusing).

Suggested fix:

You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; banish that target face-down until the end of your opponent's turn, and if you do, it cannot be moved to a different place, except by this card's effect. Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

Anyways, I dont know what you have planned for the other Star Vader Xyzs, but just to be safe, I suggest to add a restriction to this monster when it is summoned by Xyz-evolution, like disabling it from attacking or using its effect the turn it is Special Summoned that way (similar to Ptolemy).

So, basically, this ended up going to my original idea of banishing cards face down. Couldn't word the effect properly before, so thanks. I'll update the card.

Actually, your evaluation of Lock is not entirely translated. Lock in CF!!V completely...well...locks the unit and the circle, effectively reducing the number of Rearguard circles from 5 to 4, 4 to 3, and so on. While "Cannot be used" is still under debate of what that means if the prohibited card is already on the field, the use of "Target 1 Monster Card Zone" is still viable. So, if we are to keep with simplicity while still being true to the meaning of "Lock," the effect would read:

"Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls and 1 Monster Card Zone on your opponent's side of the field; banish the target monster face-down, and if you do, it cannot be moved to a different place, and the target Monster Card Zone cannot be used. These effects last until your opponent's next End Phase. Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation."

This is because the locked card technically doesn't leave the field, but instead is trapped in the field with nowhere to go and nothing to do.

I see. I don't play CF!V so I didn't understood it also locked the "zone" the monster was in, which would be translated to "Monster Card Zone" in Yugioh. In that case, the fix should be simple: just add a second effect similar, if not the same, as "Ninjitsu Art of Shadow Sealing".

You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; banish that target face-down until the end of your opponent's turn, and if you do, it cannot be moved to a different place, except by this card's effect. While that card is banished, its Card Zone cannot be used. Cards or effects cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation.

Your OCG fix was mostly right, except that you placed the ":" in the wrong place (it should be before costs, and detaching is a cost in this case) and you cannot "target" Monster Card Zones (but you can "choose" them, which is a different mechanic to "target"). However, following the example of Shadow Sealing, it is not necessary to target or choose the Card Zone.
